This. I love fried chicken as much as anybody but I'm not cool with people using something that stems from slavery to make jokes. That's what a lot of people don't understand.

Not really trying to defend tiger( because he kinda down plays his African American heritage) but what if came out and said" well if we serving fried chicken, make sure with have nachos, refried beans, a mariachi band, with coronas on deck and day laborers from Home Depot making sure the grass stays green" To spew this at a professional tournament truly shows people that money, privilege and education can't hide ignorance or intolerance.

I asked a legitimate question. How is one offended by being stereotyped as enjoying a deep fried piece of poultry? I've never understood it. I didn't say it was wrong. I just think there are worse things to cry about when it comes to being stereotyped.
Like I said, I've been clowned because of my heritage and the food that comes from our home land. It never made the news though.

I honestly agree with Michael Smith on this topic.
It is a non-issue. Come up with something more clever than fried chicken. Tiger catching feelings from this will show "them" that this is still something that can get under our skin. Move on man. As simple as that.
