Do people think that we will see more IX Elite High CWs release? 

I know that calendar that had been posted a while back has been disregarded by many.

Thinking I might just double up on the inspirations I got or another cw since it's my favorite shoe to play in  ( above the Elite Lows and EMs ).

Plenty of opportunities to get the past releases at least %20 off 

but not sure if I should pull the trigger just yet, I got my first pair for 180 shipped.

If I knew there were more releasing I would at least wait to see them.

Still not sure what model I want to see the christmas shoe be on ( EM, Elite Low, Elite High )

LeBron and KD are not going anywhere!

LeBron will eventually have his own line like MJ.

Nikes looking for a replacement for Kobe! My guess is it will be Kyrie!

Paul George will be the front runner for the Zoom Crusader.

I dont think any of the kobe line will make it to the local nike outlets. I imagine in the bigger cities it might be the case. Then again I guess nike can ship shoes to outlets from anywhere in the US.

I could only see it being the Venomenon as it currently sits on sites including NDC for 99 down to 79 and sometimes a coupon code on top of that .

Pretty sure it's more colorway than anything. For the most part, the majority of Lebron 11s that make it to outlets (if they ever do) are some of the less popular colorways (SLH)

True, I was just there this weekend and they were full of Lebron 11s all the same diffused jade color.

I was just thinking that model would be the only one to have colorways really sit, but I guess we will have to see what happens with the EMs

That calendar pretty much has never been wrong with the colorways/codes releasing.

Release dates aren't exact but give a general idea.

There will be some kobes hitting the outlets but i dont think its gonna be wide spread throughout all of them. I was able to pick up the PP red last year at an outlet for like $85-95 (cant remember exactly). I would expect some em lows and maybe some venomenons.

 
I don't think most of the EM's are sitting because Kobe is not playing in them.

Might be easier for people to get their head around the EM by looking at them as a mid tier shoe - Elite High, Elite Low, EM, Venomenon. Like Lebron XI Elite, XI, XI low, Soldier (and I'm not addressing what LeBron actually played in). The Elite High and Low are the signature shoes, and I think if Kobe had played, they are what he would have played in. I think there are photos of him in various EM CW's simply to promote the shoe. Just like he always has on other Kobe gear. He's a good salesman. I don't really think Nike thought all the EM CW's would be flying out the door. Limited releases yes, but GR's no. Lots of non limited CW's of past shoes sat for a while. The thing is with the sig lines is they take forever to go on sale, so they will be around at full price for a while. Eventually moving to the first tier of markdown - like $129 or something like that.

As for after play popularity, I bet people would buy "Retro" I, II, V's and VI's today (I would with all those), and probably other models. I think if Penny can still have a signature, Kobe can after he stops playing. New model, retros, the whole deal.

I honestly dont feel that the em are mid tier shoes its just that they have been marketed as mid tier shoes. Everyone is enjoying the new flynit this and that. Im apart of that crowd but i also realize that flynit isnt exactly the biggest step up in performance. Flynit has a great visual appeal and with the fuse it allows us to ball in them. EM's have just had some terrible colorways. The only pair im surprised that is still available is the crimsons and i been on the fence for a while on getting those.

Highs:  Black, Brave Blue, Sequoia, & Bright Crimson

Lows: Beethovens, & University Red

How do you lace your 9s? Before 10 minutes ago I just laced mine with a knot to stop the tongue from looking so obnoxiously large. I just went up 1 eyelet and its so tight that they don't come out when you walk and everything stays in place. Anybody with a similar experience?

Those are pretty dope. I like how the pattern on the upper is subtle. 3M and speckles are a nice touch as well. Still passing tho.

 As for the Crimsons, I was on the fence for awhile also, and finally one night copped them.  I wear them ALL the time, over the easters, and more than any of my kobe 8s.  Just all around great shoe for ball, gym, look great in person and go with a ton of stuff casually - ill prob buy another pair…i guarantee you won't regret if you get em.

Same for me, I LOVE the crimsons. I play ball in them once a week and still wear them almost everyday to work. They look great and hold up very well.
