Are people here really worried how it'll look worn with jeans?
It really isn't going to be that much different than doing a hi-top with jean tuck.

Without a jean tuck, it'll look just like the flyknit multi.
Everyone is going to have a their own personal reference though but I do not see a reason why it would not look good with the right fit on the jeans, tuck or not.

It's a completely different silhouette than the shoe Ye is wearing.
That high ankle part on the 9 is far more narrow and trying tuck your jeans inside will change the shape and stretch the neck.
It would probably cause the tongue to flap too.
The 9 is probably most similar to the Air Mag and in my opinion pretty much has to be worn the same way.

Trust me I have those shoes and those are very narrow at the ankles. As long as the tongue isn't stitched on the upper of the Kobe9s, it shouldn't be a problem. The Kobe9s looks a bit taller but not by much so it should work the same. Silhouette isn't exact but it'll work.
The tongue shouldn't flap is you tie it all the way up, which you should so it doesn't look as bulky up top. Trust me, it wouldn't change the shape up if tied correctly. all the way up top.
In comparison to the Air Mag, the uppers on the Air Mags are much, much bulkier and it also seems slightly taller. So you can't compare the two, I'd imagine the Air Mag would be close to impossible to wear with a jean tuck because all those bulk up top will create that silhouette on your jeans and would just looks awful. You can really only wear the Air Mags with a jean tuck and really just the same way Kanye wears the shoes in that pic.

Not taking any shots at anybody, but some of you all forget, that not every NikeTalk member up here has style. So while for some of us it's a no brainier on how to wear these or what to wear with these, others may struggle on how to wear these or lack the style to pull these off correctly.

This. Also everyone's body type is different too. I loved these at first sight. I wanted a tall shoe for wardrobe reasons. These will fit the bill.

Kobe out for 6 weeks?? welp, that is terrible. I know he'll get the votes to be in the allstar game, but I am really unsure if he would play coming off another injury. Maybe he'll sit out like Drose did last year.

Why? Nike had no problem releasing the Kobe V All Star edition and he didn't wear those...
Best believe Nike will drop a Kobe 9 All Star pair... IMO.

Hello all, I've been following this thread for a long time (left it a little aside after first pics were revealed), really looking forward for the Kobe9s and, unfortunately I've totally dislike them.
