The Kobe 9 Elite are terrible to play in! If you want a casual shoe, to me, the Kobe 9 elite is the nicest shoe ever made. But to play in, Get the 9 Low! They are amazing to play in, basically an upgrade in every way on the 8's. The Elite 9 are clunky, don't lock my foot in no matter how tight i lace them or how high or low I last them too. They are heavy as well. Paid 300$ for them here in Canada, gotta talk myself in to allowing myself to use them for just casual walk around kicks.

My buddy was in toronto and picked up a size 14 of the Philippines for me yesterday. Too bad I'll have to try and do a size swap for a size 13 which is my true size. At least it's better than nothing.

I thought the superheroes had a plain tongue but they actually have a nice pearl effect... Makes u see the same design as on the side on the tongue that's pretty dope

Whoa! Interesting feedback. I ball in my Inspirations and they feel awesome. I love them and wouldn't ball in anything but them right now. Everybody is different in their opinion I guess.

I gotta say my only complaint about the bruce lees is that they are dirt magnets. I was using a foam roller and they picked up dirt on the toe box. Nothing crazy but it didn't rub off easily.

Yeah, I'm with you. They've been incredible to play in for me as well. I thought it would be tough to top the 8, but these definitely are an upgrade for me in all areas albeit at an undesired premium price point. I've been playing in mine since the Perspectives launched and can't bring myself to play in anything else to the point where I picked up a pair of Details and Showtimes as well. No two feet are the same though, so I can see how they might not work for everyone.
To be fair, I haven't played in the 9 low, so I really can't talk on comparisons other than to the 8.

Nightwing2303 from kicksoncourt said the Kobe 9 elites were awesome for him too. I guess its just different feet, different styles of game. I normally agree with Nighwing on his reviews, but completely disagree on the Kobe elite and the Jordan 28 SE, which I also found to be Clunky, heavy, and the carbon fibre on the heels dug into my ankles on hard cuts so bad it would stop be in my tracks. I have a little bit of that going on with the Kobe 9 elite as well. The Kobe 9 low are a different story. They are the best shoes I have ever worn. If you liked the 8, you will love the 9 low.
