How was the early 2000s?

Looking at Varsityforlife's twitter feed it seems like 2001-2004 era was the Wild Wild West for NT.  Said it was so much frauding going on especially from the NYC Nters that made a lot of money from it during the Mitchell & Ness Jerseys and Jacob Watches era.  Also said back then you could LITERALLY fraud a NTer, see them at a summit and the guy wouldn't say 1 word to the dude that frauded them about their money.

Yep I also thought that clips squad was the future. Remember Miles and Q had a cameo in Van Wilder and Miles had a role in the movie The Perfect Score, basically playing himself but still some good sized role.

01-02 season they won 39 games and placed 9th in the west. If Donald sterling wasn't a piece of **** and if they had better coaching :smh:

The nostalgic effect is strong but there's no way when objectively thinking, the 80s/90s/00s were better than today

It was cool. I was in high school. 01 I was in 9th grade.

**** was trippy after 9/11.

Very..awkward and eerie. security was bonkers.

I got into a fight on the bus on 9/10, get to school the next day and get suspended for 10 days. I'm in the room with the secretary and i see the news on the tv. The sound was off so i thought it was a movie trailer. Got that 10 suspension and moms wasnt even trippin because I'd be safe at home. :smokin

02 the tmobile sidekick and hypnotiq dropped. lit wasnt even the word. think about the iphone. That's how game changing the sidekick was. Loved that 4 and up to like the 4th edition of it. So legit for internet and texting the honeys

And gunit. That was major.

Gunit and diplomats and fab and hov and nas at that time period>>>>>>>>>>>>>

NYC was eating heavy.

I agree and I loved the 90's.

Man overall I've enjoyed every era and decade. I can look back as a kid in the 90s and how I was lucky to experience things that are bing copied. I can look back at being a teenager in the 2000s and love wearing the jerseys, listening to one of the best hip hop, going to the club for the first time.

But now? I'm a father and I'm living life the way I want too. Technology has exploded and I can learn and experience things that I dreamed about as a kid. Life may not be as much fun, but that ain't got nothing to do with the Era, I'm a adult life sucks all the time anyway  of course we fondly remember our youth cause we didn't have **** to deal with compared to now.

Times were corny.

Looking at it objectively, yeah it was pretty corny.

From my personal perspective, it was lit but I was in my late teens and the Lakers were threepeatin'.

It is going to be weird in five, ten, fifteen years if or when velour suits come back into style. I told my brother that I have my velour suits safely stored so when my nephews are teenagers in the 2020's, they can be stylish and comfortable after basketball practice.
