How was the early 2000s?

Idk if it was like this anywer else but do yall remember how sean john.....Rocawear. ...enyce....ecko.....made those denim jacket and pants sets?

If u had the set u was doin it.

Like most cats like myself had the jacket cuz they were always om sale at marshalls or tj maxx or wateva but u had to find sum pants that were close to the color of the denim loool.

Polo pop collar.....i never did that.
Sweatbands around the wrist....nope.
Headbands was everywhere.

I swear every clothing company had those denim sets  I think the first ones I remember doing it were Karl Kani, which I guess would have been 1994

Legit getting a throwback this summer. This era never left me, it's just in slumber waiting to return.

I have a tall tee with the sticker on it, DS

Don't get me started..

The joy I got when I got the original Xbox for Christmas.. :smokin

All my friends would come over, we would play Halo for a bit then go outside and play football in the street, drinking out the hose.

Yall are right when you say it was the perfect combo of technology and life. :smh: Too much nostalgia in here.

I was living in the middle east and was the only kid who had a CD writer in 2000, I would download movies through limewire alternatives that would usually take me a week due to dial up internet but then would sell a bunch of these movies, I made a ton of money from 7th grade through high school. 8)

My dad would do business in the US from time to time and would usually bring gifts, I treated anything that came form the US like gold. A video of the Lakers championship run, basketball clothes and shoes etc...When a new video mixtape will come out, again it would take a few days to download through limewire and I swear I must have watched the VC slam dunk contest over 200 hundred times. The Lakers video and mixtapes were something I would cherish, now it's something we take for granted because of Youtube.

Another thing I would cherish would be mixtape. Niketalk was my source of music before it hit the middle east so I would have access to all the summer jams and bangers a month before it hit stores here. I was known as THE guy will the latest songs (Thank you NT :nthat:) so girls and guy would always be asking for songs from me. I remember when linken park first came out, MAN I was one popular kid that time.

AND1 mixtapes were the reason basketball because popular in Saudi Arabia and my first shoes were the chrome spreewells, we learned all the trick moves before even learning fundamentals. lol we wouldn't win much, but we had fun.

Dreamcast was the best xmas present I've ever gotten.

Soul calibur

Power Stone

JSR

Resident Evil Code Veronica

Virtual Tennis

NBA and NFL 2K

First system I ever played online, I was baffled when the system went under.  It's in my top 3 systems ever next to SNES and N64
Dreamcast is my all time favorite gaming system.  It was so ridiculously ahead of its time.  Playing online almost a decade before any other system.  Being able to call your football plays on the screen on the controller.  Interactive gaming.

Dreamcast was the goods.  Just too bad that people didnt think it was "the cool system."

It truly is incredible that they had the online option and it actually worked pretty well.

Most of my friends actually had Dreamcast too. Was very surprised that it went downhill...
