Air Jordan XX8 SE Shrouldess Video and Official Pics on Page 1 Shoes Hit Stores 10/11/13

I know everyone is different just like some of us had zoom bag issues, but the fit to me is perfect. I had no problems at all. Definitely TTS for me

After a couple runs in both these and the m10 I have to say that if you're not feeling these shoes maybe you should concentrate on your footwork on the court. I had the same issues with the arch and pinky toe so I took some time to study and adjust my movement and now both shoes feel godly. They feel like nothing, like water or something. When I come down from a jump it feels like I never even left my feet. Compared to the kobe 8 which I love but have literally felt my foot touching the court a couple times. Those zoom bags are the future

Edit - and I don't wear elite socks with these just the basic Nike ones that are thin but hug your feet

Color doesn't quite come through on the pic, but trying out this swap on the greys.  Nothin crazy but it gives it a little hint of color.  These rope laces are a little thicker and hold a little tighter than the stock laces too.

I'm sure everyone, including myself, that just isn't feeling these has bad footwork on the court. Yes, that must be it!

And if these zoom bags are "the future" Nike/Jordan should probably find a way for them not to pop so much, huh?

Shoes should let me do what I want, when I want, and how I want to do it.

Concentrate on footwork and adjust how I move?  I'd rather concentrate on calling out screens and rotating to cover opposing players.

Shoes don't work for everyone, whether casual or performance.  People who swear by a shoe can recommend them all they want, but if it doesn't work, it doesn't work.

And just because someone doesn't like a shoe, it doesn't make it bad.  XX8 SE's are good shoes overall, except for the damn bags popping, but I much prefer shoes that are lower to the ground.

Do the other shoes with unlocked zoom like the melos also have popped air bags or is it just these?  Sorry if this question has been asked before.  Haven't been here much lately.

Based on what I've read across NT and other online sources, zoom bags popping has been an issue with M10s, Super.Fly 2s and XX8s (and XX8 SEs) --- basically, the shoes with the unlocked zoom unit. By frequency, however, majority of the popped bags have been with the XX8s and XX8 SEs.

People getting defensive . I'm just trying to help prevent injury, work on your damn footwork. I'm sure all of us have little injuries that throw us off. Certain shoes mask these issues better than others but if it's not addressed it can lead to more serious injuries. Trust me...

I used to trip over my own feet all the time in the kobe 8, never happened in any other shoe. But all I had to do was work on myself

If you can't see the difference in getting defensive and just responding to a stupid post then I don't know what to tell you.

If anyone wants the sequoias in a size 9 9.5 10 or 13 they're only $124 shipped from shoe jockey.

Safe to say you're acting defensive. Even the best players in the world need to constantly work on fundamentals. If you want to keep blaming the shoes go ahead. Like I said I'm just trying to help based on my own experience. It's like if you keep hurting yourself lifting weights and someone suggests you should drop weight and concentrate on form. Would you say you should be able to lift the weights however you want with no incident? Same principle. The best technology in the world doesn't matter if it isn't properly optimized

Where did I blame these shoes for anything?

I haven't suffered any injuries in them. I haven't tripped over myself in them. They never even made my feet sore.  They're just simply not my style. Why is that so difficult for you to understand?

I'm sorry that you can't grasp the fact that it's stupid to come in here with absolutes like "anyone who doesn't like the way these feel needs to focus on your footwork." That's not insulting you, it's implying that you need to remember that there's a reason there are so many different shoes for people to choose from, because not everyone likes the same things. If anything, you're the one insulting people by assuming their footwork is poor because they don't like the way one shoe feels.

For example - what would you say about Lebron James not liking the way his signature LBJ 11s feel, yet there are countless other high profile athletes who seem to love playing in them. Does that mean the best basketball player in the world right now needs to work on his footwork to get a shoe to work for him? Or does it simply mean he just prefers the fit and feel of a different shoe? No different than myself and others not liking these while you and others swear by them.

So why did you respond in the first place? Not trying to derail this thread, my original post was directed to those complaining about discomfort and offering a possible solution, that's it. I didn't come here to start e beef. The 11's are snug as hell. I don't wanna talk about lebron's feet

To point out how ridiculous your post was/is. It's absurd to assume that someone has poor footwork just because a shoe doesn't work for them. We all don't have the same feet, thus we're not all going to like the same shoes.

I love the Kobe 8s, you trip over yourself in them. You seem to swear by these SEs, I don't care for them.

Different strokes.

These shoes felt amazing on my feet, up until the zoom air bag popped. Only hooped in them 5 times too. Hoping to get these replaced this weekend at FTL and not have this issue again.

I disagree with that.  Lifting weights is a lot of times isolating specific muscles/muscle groups.  It's the same repetitive movement.

If we're talking about shooting jumpshots, then yeah, I could see that.  Repetitive movement, form is important.  But playing basketball overall, fundamentals will only get you so far.

Anyway, most of us are probably just gym rats and rec center heroes at the most.  I just want a shoe I can depend on when I play pickup, it's not that serious to me.  XX8 SE's just didn't work out for me compared to something like CP3 VII's or Kobe V's.

I am getting AJ XX8 se All Star colorway, and did anyone had problems with airbags popping ?? I also saw someone talking about walking in them for 2-3 days first before playing in them

Popped bags arent tied to specific colorways though. Everyone here who has them could tell you no, but once you get them after a cpl months or something they could pop for you. Its just the model in general and luck of the draw whether it would happen or not.

After going a month of playing in mine constantly I was almost certain I wouldnt even have the issue since I was using them regularly, but about a week after that that month I landed after getting a rebound and pop. Never noticed it until hours later after I was home and decided to check the sole.
