MCW, Noel, Top 3 pick, and a Pelicans Top 13ish pick is a helluva nice start if you ask me. Not sure what all the clownin is for, 4 guys like that, under 23, low dollars, ton of cap space, if they simply overpay for 2-3 decent pieces while the 4 learn and grow, it's a nice start.

History shows it's hard to win in the NBA with that depending on many young players, even if they are high picks.

I approve of the tanking strategy overall though.

They're gonna have one of the top 3 worst records in the league...they ain't dropping past like 6 at the worst. We'll have the Pelicans pick which will be somewhere around 10-13 though. I'd be cool with Exum/Smart and McDermott if it played out like that.
