And Cousins might not be your prototypical 7+ foot shotblocking Center. but to say he doesnt play Defense because of that is just ridiculous.  would the Kings like to pair Cousins with a shot-blocker on the frontline? yes that would be great. but just because he isnt blocking shots at the rate of Roy Hibbert doesn't mean he doesnt play defense.  and Howard only averaging .2 more blocks per game is just hilarious, because that is really the only thing he has on Cousins

he just needs to learn how to talk to refs. guys like lebron/kobe/cp3 talk to refs a lot more than cousins but they dont get treated unfairly for it, its actually the exact opposite

read what we said.  we aren't claiming him to be Motumbo out there. and he doesn't need to be. because he is dominant on offense.

Cousins is ok on defense but to say he's as good as Dwight just by judging the stats and not looking at matchups/actual point deferential isn't getting the whole picture. Boogie is terrible defending the pick and roll and is not a better 1 on 1 defender than Dwight. Offensively though we know who's better without a doubt

definitely.  idk if you have seen a lot of Kings games this year. but he is handling himself MUCH better.  having polite conversations with refs during dead balls and what not. and last night when he picked up a early 2nd foul in the first quarter, he was visually mad at himself and didn't complain to officials at all

i never said he was as good as Dwight defensively. Dwight should be much better on D considering his athleticism and the fact that his defense is really his most useful asset. but he's not amazingly better, certainly not enough to make up for the offense. so people saying Dwight > Cousins overall is just hog****

in 1 on 1 situations opponents are shooting 56.6% vs cousins and 54% vs dwight

Y'all giving Dwight wayyy to much credit on his defensive.

He hasn't been great defensively since he was in Orlando.

Let's not even get into the fact Cousins shoots around 70% from the line versus Dwight's sub-50% :x

how is being 24th in the nba in ts% being an all time great?

this guy has never lead the league in ts% and his best year when he was second the list went:

1. nene

2. dwight

3. nash

4. marc

5. corey maggette

cousins is a better offensive player than dwight and its not even close
