Official Air Jordan XX9 post! 1st two released 9/6/14! NO BUYING/SELLING/TRADING!

Hoping these don't have the same zoom air bag popping issue as the XX8. At $150 a pair for the XX8, it was a more affordable hooping shoe. At $225, the quality control on these better be top notch.

I'm curious about the production delay as well since I haven't read about it on all the sneaker sites: SoleCollecter, Sneakernews, Weartesters, Nike blog, etc.

I really like what JB is doing w/ the 29s but that price is steep! I hope they put out an SE model.

It is amazing how tight Jordan Brand is with information now. No new color ways, no new photos, no buzz at all on the xx9. The other shoes seem to have endless color ways with a ridiculous amount of hype. We only have 2-3 months. Or are folks just not feeling the shoe?

people are into them I believe but there is nothing to talk about. After the unveiling there is no new information being tossed around so until September we won't be seeing much of anything

it's NOT a print. the entire upper is weaved. having some color to choose from for the ID would be nice tho. love the westbrook giant jumpman version with red or white jumpman. 
 
I'm ready to pick these up day 1. With the track fit and everything like back in the day. :wink:

I just hope they aren't limited.

I'm in LOVE with the black pair with the oversized red jumpman. Kinda wish his leg wasn't covered by the tpu wrap but IIWII. This will be my first pair of J's since the XX.

Not really feeling the color blocking of the other pairs, looks kinda recycled/clunky IMO. How many shoes have we seen with that same forefoot wrap and that treatment at the ankle? Kinda tired. IMO the shoe looks much better just letting the form do the talking and letting the subtle detailing make it pop.
 
Patiently waiting to see how these look with a casual outfit as opposed to basketball shorts.
 
Man I wish that big a** jumpman (on the side) was royal blue or infrared 23. Not feeling the orange.

If they are more comfortable to ball in than the xx8's, I'm going to get multiple pairs. Can't wait to see what other colorways/ideas they are going to come out with outside of those that are already known.

Black/orange cw is fire.
