yes, imo. xx8 is a little choppy from heel to toe transition, the xx9 is a lot smoother. no heel zoom didn't feel any different for me. the upper comparing the shroud version vs the xx9 i actually like the xx8 because of the compression the shroud gives you. the xx8 SE feels stiffer around the toes.

Well, if there's only 1,000 Photo Reels I hope they utilize the uppers in a similar fashion on another XX9 release before the XXX drops later this year.

Me also. I prob only want one more pair of XX9 unless they drop at outlets super discount, and I'm going to wait it out for an upper like that....

............maybe they'll do this?
 
They better do something because only doing one photo reel and making it extremely limited is waste of the upper. 
 
Think thats just the rumor going around seen someone post on some site a week ago saying less than that
 
They aren't gonna use any of those pictures. They only used the one they used cuz it matches the design of the large jumpman pairs. You aren't gonna see a plethora of pairs with pictures.
 
Just chatted with Finishline and the rep for whatever its worth doesn't know if they are releasing them.  I also called a few stores and they had no idea...

I don't expect a plethora of different pairs, but you're telling me they're only going to release 1,000 pairs of these Photo Reels and that's the only release they'll utilize the full capabilities of these uppers? Possible, but doubtful.
 
Have you not seen how JB does business?
And they may do other prints on the upper, but I highly doubt there will be any more pictures of Mike

This is brand new tech. To utilize it to its full capabilities ONCE on the first model would be a waste. I just don't see it. Not saying I'm right, but just doesn't make sense to me.
 
Lol a screenprint on the upper and you guys are impressed, the yotg is an actual full, all around execution of what you can do with the weave material

Bias aside
 
Lets not forget they already did images for the alpha/omega 1s and 20s.

Is the image a screen print? Any detailed pics that might show how the images is applied?
