Man i was so close to joining this acouple years back when it launched. I was actually being recruited by the "top" team in Texas. Dude was ballin back then, i cant imagine what his checks are looking like now. But being young and in HS back then, it was hard to get ppl to take you seriously only making some money.

You gotta get in early with these new mlm's popping up. If you can get yout recruitor to put 4 solid ppl under you, your downline will eventually work itself. Thats how most ppl luck out and then turn into the presentors that show off their bank

Almost got into a pyramid scheme a couple years ago...Primerica. Dude asked for my card, said nah. Asked for a check said nah. Then he asked for a money order. Like nah g im good. Homie then has the balls to show up to my house and try to pitch the reasons I should join  0]

I got a friend whos doin that. She hit me up a while back on Facebook. Saying if i want a job. I said doing what? No answer

She hit up my friend. Asked him the same question. She said get dressed. My boss will explain it better

Like how can you not know what you do?

She tried to get my girl in too. She told my girl to bring $100 for a background check. And the benefits are great. She got a Beamer and paid off all her loans and travels every month

Paying for a background check is a red flag. Told her not to go wit it

Surprised it took this long for this thread to be made. Hate this stuff. A lot of my friends are in it and always tried to get me to join. Just a waste of my time. One of my frat brother's goes upstate and recruits students who are still in college and all his deaf friends. Sounds horrible but I can’t wait for them to fail and come back to reality. Just want to hit them with the "I told you so" for taking advantage of people. :smh:

Watching a video for something called 3.netsolutions right now. No clue what this is, but seems like another scam or some ****. Another of my friends is trying to get me involved.

EDIT: 10 minutes in and apparently it's dealing with Amway. Quick Google search and of course a scam pops up.

People stay trying top take shortcuts to get to the paper.

To add to the takes of friends...

My ex was super hype about it... I was like "its a pyramid scheme"

She eventually seen the light, and apologized ...

Felt good man...

I was walking home one day and I seen a dude I always see in the park where I ball at

Homie was asking me if I got a job and when I'm free talkin bout his boys just put him onto to some stuff and they making a thousand a month and when I asked what was it he kept dodging the question talkin bout his boys makin $

I gave him a fake number and bounced I had a feeling it was some funny business

My sister is actually in world ventures and she already recruited some people so she doesnt have to pay the fee but I still dont like her being in it

My boy tried to get me on this "Wake Up Now" business....clearly a pyramid scheme then he got mad when we called it that . Dude is trying his damnedest to get people under his umbrella but I had to hit him with the Jerry Springer in the movie theater gif, No thanks man. I can't even do that stuff in good conscience to people I know or family/close friends....laid out all the claims. Pay 100 a month till you get 3 people under you who each can get 3 people then you make $600 a month...seen two other peopl I know trying this as well. They always post about how people who are working actual careers are missing out and they will be caking :rolleyes. Can't co sign this crap at all...rather work and invest my money and do it the right way. Not to mention these usually dont work...for every Huge earner there are 100s of people who couldn't get their network set up properly but you only hear about the winners of course

Damn, I saw this dude I used to work with on IG holding up one of them "You should be here" signs and didn't think anything of it. Reading this thread, I remember another chick I know was doing it as well. I was intrigued for a hot second cuz she was taking trips all over the country, but it's obvious she wasn't seeing any paper cuz she hasn't posted up a beamer pic yet.

YEARS ago (2006), back when I was quite naive, just getting ready to graduate high school, I found myself at a Cutco recruiting site. I knew something was fishy when I got to the address and it was the first floor of a brownstone in Harlem and had no signage anywhere. I proceeded in though, despite my weariness. Long story short, I was obviously offered a position with the company and all I had to do was fork over $300 for a demo set of knives. I distinctly remember this butch lesbian, yet she was skinny as hell, at the interview. Here I am, dressed to impress for a job interview, looking very professional. Then, enter Chauncey, with her polo, sweater vest and big square earrings. She got a job offer too I bet.

No joke, she just started working at my local McDonald's. Wonder if she wore the same outfit to this interview.

World Ventures tried to get me last year. Thing about scammers though, the easiest way to tell is that they overwhelm you with the perks and don't let up when trying to reel you in. Too much pressure from something that I didn't seek out on my own will never get my signature.

My sister in law got caught up in this "You Should Be Here" crap.

Tried to get my wife and I involved in it but we can see her life unraveling from paying miscellaneous fees. Training fees, materials, etc. We helped get her lights cut back on a few weeks ago and she had the nerve to keep trying to push this 'You can make as much money as you want to make. You are your only obstacle' rhetoric to us. It's so ridiculous man

According to WorldVentures official documents, “73.7 percent of reps fail to earn a commission and only .1 percent earn a yearly income above the poverty level. The average rep earns $325 in a year. That doesn’t account for the price of joining or the cost of training events.” According to this study, 99% of WorldVentures associates actually LOSE money.

“Not only you have to pay for Dreamtrips membership for trips which are priced the same or even higher than if you booked the exact same trip online or better through your travel agent who would take care of your flights too and treat you like a good valued customer, but you are bombarded every month with trainings (costing from 99US to 500 US), Marketing Tools that should be offered for free (ie 30 US per month to use a mailing system) and many more additional costs that WorldVentures uses to extract more money out of its reps and members.”

Someone is making a heck of a lot of money out of WorldVentures, but it probably won't be you.

I know someone who does this for a company called Vemma ? dude tried to bring me in last year but i wasnt about it. His IG is Seb301 check out the beamers he got from the company. Still dont know if i can believe it or not

Anytime some schmuck asks you if "You would like to make some extra income..." or tells you that you are a "sharp individual...." walk away.

These clowns are the worst. Making money off of friends/family and trust. Swindlers. Snake Oil Sellers.

All smoke and mirrors.

A trusted family member got me involved 10 years ago. Paid my 110, and went to hard selling circuit city electronics, vitamins, sports drinks, ect. End of the month I'm looking for a check and nothing. I asked ny fan about it and he hit me with...did you read the materials I gave you? You didn't reach the quota. I was stunned, Glass Joe status. I questioned him many more times and Ihr always gave me the...did you read the materials? I just took the L stopped working that scheme altogether.

Now anytime someone calls me out of the blue asking to do lunch, or to "sgare something with me", I tell them I don't even want to hear about it.

I always see this dude on my facebook posting about that Visalus diet or whatever the hell it is....he's this close to being blocked....posting pictures with his wife and children at these events holding up big *** checks and taking pictures in front of "his" bmw...**** just looks shady from the jump...he posts on fb pretty much every day talking about how this Visalus crap changed his life and how he lives a much healthier lifestyle...writing about how he's taking trips to conventions and he's the team leader or whatever the ****...:smh:

I also rmb a friend of mine back in highschool (2002/2003) joing that Vector company or was it Cutco?...whatever it was he was trying to sell everyone knives, talking about he went to a convention and showed him how much money he could make...I'm like I've never heard of anyone ever in my life getting rich off of selling someone elses brand of knives. :smh: Hit him with the

he's like...."bro but look these cut through a penny...and these come with the set for free!..." :smh:

If you have close friends or family members who are getting baited in by this stuff, be real and tell them this **** might not work in their favor. If you really care about ya folks you'll tell it to them straight

Seeing these pyramid businesses makes my blood boil (Amway, Vector, Oregano Gold, Body By Vi, all of em)

Some of em are legit though. Multi-level marketing company's main source of revenue aren't from enrollment dues ala a pyramid but based of a product or service. Newer companies are using this tactic similar to a pyramid scheme basically because it's a great way of marketing their product/service. Word of mouth is a whole lot cheaper than spending thousands purchasing ads on Google, etc. Look how many of you guys know of these products! Obviously before putting in time and money into a new venture, prepare a cost/benefit analysis to see if it's profitable.

I cut off anyone who tries to recruit me for these thing. You're weak minded for falling into that ****. I don't hang with people like that. You clearly think I'm an idiot who would fall for it and have no respect for me for even trying to take advantage.
