Well in the BBC news 1 interview, it sounded like Kanye doesn't want a limited shoe he can design every few years. He wants a line of sneakers that are in production. Nike has to big of an ego to give it to him but I could def see Adidas giving it to him. Hell, Kanye should just go with Supra. Have a Weezy and Yeezy line! lol

Adidas would be a good fit for him. They have no problem doing high end, quality shoes (like Nike is really good at that or something lol). And they would give 'Ye much more control over the line, and the amount sold. I'd have no problem paying several hundred for a release that was easier to get (even just a bit), and better quality. I'd have a Yeezy 3-10 if they released yearly, and looked as interesting as the Yeezy 2.

I really don't get why they wouldn't want to have a production shoe from Kanye and not just a limited one. There profit would go up tons of people out there really want this shoe. I guess ego rules all in this situation.

Idk, I haven't owned an Adidas shoe since high school. The Detroit players were meh, the black ones went on sale not too long ago. D Rose's shoe looks like and has looked like garbage since forever. I hope he doesn't go there, but I'd understand completely why he'd do it.

Yes, because having info and disliking a shoe is one in the same. I've always said I loved the shoe...for it's resell value. I never once said I was in love with the shoe.

I think we will see closer to DB numbers this time, but that doesn't mean anything. The DB collection is actually produced in 'ok' numbers, but its so sought after and valued, that it feels smaller. I expect the same from these this time around.

Doesn't make a whole lotta sense, but no one knows for sure. Last year they made around 3 to 3.5 K of each colorway. Those had more expensive materials (leather) and labor ( hand cut snake scales).


So if Nike scales back this release it's clearly because they're done with Kanye. I however, believe there are more than 2,000 pairs with how many have leaked early.

Nah I feel u on that one. I have been. Following these guys for awhile now, they seem to work out of china and have got great feedback in there products. They reported that the bel-air 5s were limited before I heard any type off numbers report on them. Personally I hope so but like you said this could be the end of ye and nike collaboration. I will see what other info they drop.
