I'm in the minority on these, or maybe not. I hate FP2's. I tried them on and they're not right for my foot at all. They were uncomfortable to put on and walk around in. I didn't like switch to the boxy design either. These also sat for a long time. I remember people not wanting the all black cw IIRC.

I had the all black and black fades. The fades I got for 90$ on sale. I agree they were the most uncomfortable between the 3. The all black FP2 and the Black Infrared 6s were my 1-2 punch going into my junior year of HS.

I do love all flightposites, but I agree, the FP2's are easily the weakest out of the three.. Comfortable shoes, but not the best design.. They actually rotted on shelves in 2000..

The zipper wouldn't stay all the way up but wouldn't come all the way down either. Just like KGs in the pic above. I hated that.

I tried, I mean I really tried to like them, but I couldn't. I didn't like how they looked on my feet, and I just couldn't cop because it was a FP. So I just have the I's and the III's.

Although I love the FP3, I wasn't a fan of the battlegrounds at all. I disliked the bubbles on those and the CW I liked most was the Navy & Silver. I was born in DC and will never wear the colors of the Dallas Cowboys. I'm hardcore about my teams. Btw vote Wall, Beal for the All Star game fellas. Thanks lol

I wasn't a fan of the BG colors either. The only one I liked was the platinumposite and it was too gaudy for me as well as the pricetag. Plus we didn't get them at NTNY, if I wasn't getting a discount, it was a no go

Gold was by far the worse. It was a dull color gold with no pop at all. I believe they got as low as 40$ few places. They may have the crown for the most discounted posite ever. The Plats were ok and a nice shoe to have for the collection but 250$ retail back then for those wasn't happening. Talk about foreshadowing things to come.

Exactly. Hell, people hesitated on the first cw @ $160. Not when retro Jordans were typically $125 at the time. I copped the first week they released. If I didn't have a discount, I would have hesitated too.

Hey does anyone remember the name of a 120$ shoe that was black & red with 2 non adjustable straps. The straps weren't see through but I'd say they were a clear color, if that makes sense. They dropped the week right before the black/blue FP3 did. I had a pair but can't remember the name to save my life.

It wasn't them. I had the white navy's. They need to bring those back. Very comfortable shoe. The ones I'm talking about were all leather and the straps were attached to the side of the shoe. Each strap split in two thin pieces on both sides. I can picture em clear as day. Tried to find a pic but don't know the name. Lol.

Idk about the other CWs but the navy Stunners came with a navy wristband too. Love when Nike gives us something extra with a shoe. First Vicks came with a headband.

Lol at snatching the side goodies. Cool. The straps were plastic too I think. Wasn't a very popular shoe but the type you had to own to appreciate.

Nice. I remember some of the MD Terps wearing these back in the day. I wish they would have left the eggplants vents silver on the retro instead of making them black. Not sure if they changed the golds vents. I'll have to check mine tomorrow.

TO each their own... I think the 2s are alot better than the 3s. IMO the FP line got progressively worse each version released with 3 and 4 being tied for ugliness.
Air Max Duncan ? I dont think there was a white/red colorway though.

It wasn't those either. It's kinda hard to explain but the straps went right across the shoe just like the FP3. I'm gonna see if I can find a pic.

If it helps anyone find a pic of these, they released the week right before the FP3 debuted. Almost as if it was a take down model of sorts. I've been looking for almost 20 minutes and haven't found a pic yet.

So which version of shoetrends did you get scammed from the old school OG one or the one that came back under new management for a little then changed to deadstock shoes?
I originally found NT from shoetrends they used to have a link at the bottom of the page saying to check our friends out I believe in the early 2000's.
I was new to the internet I only really got on my Packard Bell to fap to still pics and go in these chatrooms for chicks in NYC
So I had no idea what a message board was or how to work it, and I remember coming to this black and red site but not knowing how to navigate it.
Eventually a friend of mine told me to check it out because it is just as passionate about kicks as I was at the time.
Before I came on here I legit thought I had like top 2-3 collections in the world or was the top dawg on the east coast... boy was I wrong
I never bought any of the flightposites though, but I always wanted the carbon flights from jump.
Had this kid Dennis that got the FP1's and 2's in the black colorway when he used to get he checks from school or whatever they gave the college refund to CUNY students I don't know.
But, I didn't really like the zipper thing so I stayed away but the carbon's intrigued me.
I remember being clowned on by many for rocking foams and especially the silver Duncan Foams, but my my my how times have changed and the "space/moon boots" are all the hype now
