I remember why I laid off nt for several years, I can't believe what I read here many a times. That's why I try to stick to just the kicks part of it.
It's not terrible considering the og was 150 nearly 16 years ago.

You can use bday coupons but it depends on who's at the register. Sometimes I can get away with it and sometimes they say I can't. It just depends

I usually have an idea about stock a little early, but I don't have a clue this time around. Anybody know anything about shipment sizes/availability? Seems that the hype is low, but I'm nervous that this is going to be like the Steel X's or Olympic VII's from a few years ago...way less than what we were expecting.

Same as all the OG colorways this year and in all sizes. Comparable to Powder Blue 10 release in my humble opinion. Obviously things will vary like always depending on location if purchasing in store. Online should be what we today consider an easy cop tho. Stock is high.

You can't use more than one winner circle per day in store but you can stack it with a different type of coupon such as spend $100 get $20off.

Copped two pairs of these solely for nostalgic reasons. My OG soles fell apart. Here are some things I noticed.
1) The thickness of the padding around the ankle area seems thicker on the retros
2) Obviously tongue length (which I really appreciate. OG tongues were short, moved to the side and the plastic bits cut into the shoe)
3) Non pearlised foam and teeth (if you examine real closely, there is still a very light shimmer but not as obvious, welcome edition as my OGs became so damn sticky and hard to clean off)
4) Difference in suede/nubuck toe area (insignificant really, unless you're going to be touching it all day everyday......)
5) Foam used in the heel is firmer/harder on the retros
6) Padding in the heel area is way thicker on the retros
7) Leather used is definitely not as good
I guess there are some pros and cons regarding some of the changes aesthetically. Personally appreciate the change in the tongue, non pearl teeth and thicker padding (although not memory foam), and as a lifestyle shoe it definitely makes it a lot more comfortable for casual wear. I won't be too fussed up about the other things.
Visually the shoe looks good, comfortable and I can finally wear them again after my OG pair from 15 years ago (Yes....fifteen years ago, I'm pretty old). I'm glad they brought them out again as the OG pairs were the very first pair of Jordans I bought with my own money.
