The Combat Jack Show Thread

Well supposedly Jay recruited Drake to be a Tidal exclusive artist and then Drake went and signed an exclusive deal with Apple, apparently rubbed Jay the wrong way, especially since him and Drake had a working relationship.

Also Apple music heads been throwing shots at Tidal since it started so it seemed to be kinda personal between those two companies, money and egos are involved there and you know how that goes.

Diddy on the other hand, I mean that just seemed like a done deal. Drake stole the beat, Diddy allegedly whipped Drake's ***, then Diddy came out in interviews saying it's all good. Wouldn't have figured they're still going at it
 
People renig in business all the time. If there isn't a contract signed, it's business. Tidal probably helped Drake's negotiations and Jay-Z with the sports agency understands that. If Jay had a problem with Drake why would he even appear on Pop Style? Muchless Drake being welcome at Beyonce's concert?

I'm not sure why you think someone stealing your song and making a hit out of it. No call and asking for permission. Just straight jack move and straight to the radio. Then that person assaulting you would be easier to forget. If I get in a fight with someone I'm not forgetting about it like I'm 12. Those days are over.

Plus Drake's lines sort of add up since Meek ***** with Puff. Like go over his house and hang out type of stuff.
 
he also took kanyes verse off the album prolly cause jay started the verse

I only listened to that 4pm track once and barely paid attention so I can't even begin to act like I know or care what drake talking bout

I used to hate when Desus did that. He's gotten better at letting Mero get the thoughts out. When Mero cooks, he brings that fire. Never forget when he he explaining how he can picture himself going out in the blaze of glory/shoot out and having his last words for Desus being

"Ayo Desus my *****, when you take my sons to the Gucci store... Show em the loafs"

Also, how do yall peep some of these podcasts?

ex: Ill name this podcast = soundcloud
combat = soundcloud

I ask cause Nore's on the play.it site doesn't give me a chance to scroll (like rewind/fastforward)
 
I use the Podcast app

but with Android, Stitcher, and now Google Play has some of them, but they don't have ESPN and the CBS ones
 
i cant stand combat jack. dude is epitome of a cornball. him and son from rap radar

no wonder just blaze/pete/dallas left. 

doesnt surprise me that he jerked nore on his record deal

i don't care if he has jayz or guests on that level. can't listen to this uncle tom

Yeah. Not seeing how Jack's a UT. Dude's unbearable, but pretty vocal about what he sees as a system of white supremacy/privilege.

Cornball yes, UT I don't get that vibe at all. Don't really see what Cardi B has to do with the "culture" maybe it's a slow week? If anything it's a blow(no pun) for the culture.

Why ****** acting like Cardi just trash?

She's a stripper that turned her life around and uses her platform, however small it may be, to tell these would-be thots to take a better route than she did. I can respect that. :smokin
