Nike Air Yeezy Red October 2 Thread Officially Released VIA NDC 2/9. No BUYING/SELLING/TRADING.

A used size 12 just went for $3300 on eBay.

Crazy.
Goodness gracious.

About a year ago I purchased both Yeezy 2s DS of a seller for 3K..

Kept the Plats and sold the Solars to an acquaintance for 2.1K.. And I thought I was doin it..

I mean.. I figured the value was going to go up.. But up to 4K+ in a year's time is crazy indeed.

I wish I never sold em now..

I don't regret getting rid of my red Octobers BUT I do wish I actually got the solars tho. I remember the salt I had when I didn't get them so I never bothered to follow the thread. Never seen a pair in person either SO these pics are all kinda new to me.

I wish the RO had the premium materials proto mentioned the other two colors had. Would have been nice to check out.

i had Plats and the leather on the side was very nice quality, but still fell short of the yeezy 1. the insoles had the same leather as the yeezy 1s but once they were worn for awhile started to feel uncomfortable.besides the leather sections, they werent really premium quality.

ok on a more serious note...

You're "education" should have had you read the rules of the site. There is nothing wrong with posting a link to a website selling shoes as long as its not a live ebay listing. But you know that tho.

"...to promote your products/services, will be deleted on site and we will immediately terminate any accounts involved. Items for sale may ONLY be posted in the designated buy/sell area."

http://niketalk.com/a/rules-of-conduct...

Since members don't know who runs, operates, is a benefactor to the site you linked... it could easily be implied that you in fact have some kind of affiliation... You are a mod... you have no need to play in the grey area... Nothing in the rules explicitly makes the distinction between an eBay link or any link for that matter... So I don't know what you are talking about.

1000 1000 -

you CANT call me an incompetent mod because, as you stated already, you don't follow my posts. you DONT know what i provide or do for the site. Its obvious that you just want to come off as someone "putting me in my place."

and you want to kick me out of the thread... comical.

Like I said, and was implying... There is no need to analyze all your posts and actions as a mod... The ones in this thread suffice to argue that you don't do a consistent job. What do you call someone that can't do a simple job effectively with CONSISTENCY? I would call them INCOMPETENT....

Examples...

1. Derogatory comments regarding race, ethnic background, language, gender, sexual orientation or religion are strictly prohibited.

This has been seen in this thread... I haven't seen bans or heard of suspensions...

2. Swearing is unacceptable. Partially edited slurs or profanity such as "f__k" and "sh**" is also unacceptable. Attempting to circumvent this rule using abbreviations, acronyms, or other obvious representations of prohibited language will not be tolerated and will result in administrative action.

This rule is habitually broken in this thread...

3. No name calling, attacks or flames wars. ANYTHING specifically directed at another member in a disrespectful way will NOT be tolerated.

This rule... habitually broken, in this thread.

3. Images, including those used for personal icons, must be appropriate for all ages. Images that show illegal drug use, graphic depictions of violence or are sexually provocative are not acceptable. These include "booty" pictures, illegal drug images, and anything containing graphic" violence.

This rule... habitually broken, in this thread....

Bruh, that's like 70% of the rules... LMAO.

Why do I keep specifying "IN THIS THREAD"? Because you STAY in this thread... I can't call out Meth or other mods because they aren't preview to the behavior in this thread unless someone brings it to their attention... But you are a mod in this thread on the daily! Do your job...

My angle in coming at you was about CONSISTENCY in Moding... I had no horse in the race... I have no affiliation to the people you admonished... I'm simply calling it how I see it.

You are not doing your mod duty in this thread.

People always bring up how NT should have a wait period on membership, etc... What people should realize is that if the Mods did a more consistent job then there wouldn't be so much tomfoolery on this site.

If the workload is too much then recruit more mods... simple as that.

If a mod isn't effectively, efficiently, and consistently doing their job... then they should be booted...

Corrupt and inefficient organizations are managed by people who are "LENIENT" to some and admonish others for very similar actions... This obviously leads to discontent and resentment amongst members of the organization (in this case community)....

How about you stop worrying about "Leeway" and being the "COOL" mod and just do what you are supposed to do... Enforce the rules of conduct... CONSISTENTLY across the board... If a rule is broke, ACT, EVERY TIME. That way there are no excuses and NT starts getting cleaned up...

It's crazy that all the other Yeezys went up since the Red Octobers dropped. How much did the Solars and Plats go for it's first couple of weeks after release?

Solars went for $2,500 around release, then fell to $1,500ish, now are at 4k+ for a ds pair.

Plats went for $2,200 or around that around launch, then bottomed out at around $1,300ish, now a ds pair goes for around 2.7k-3k.

I dont know what other boards you frequent, but NT is moderated pretty damn well. If you're that dissatisfied with the way things are run here.... leave.

haven't seen a DS pair of Solars for under $3k. Briefly looked today because their value came up earlier and saw $2.8k for a used 8.5. Nothing else for under $3000. FC price was on the low end of eBay

I feel like the ROs will come down to $2,500 at the lowest then go back up sooner or later.

I sold a DS Solar size 10.5 for 3.1K about a month ago. I could've gotten A LOT more, but it was to one of my regular buyers and I still was making a decent amount.

A Public Administration degree is just as good as a history degree in today's economy
You clearly have no clue what you are talking about... The world of politics is something that has become professionalized... PA is something almost required in any type of politically oriented field... But like any other degree it boils down to an individual, their capacity, and their end game... Im working on my JD and eventually will seek my Masters in PA. My end game... Congress... Connections? Yes. Capacity? Yes... My BA in PA will suffice as that was only my first step... lol

Have you read or seen anything about the job market for law students in the past couple of years?  It's by far one of the worst professions to choose at the moment.
Depends what law you consider practicing... If you don't have a proper and well established plan then you need to develop that first before even thinking of a JD... Environmental Law is booming... Corporate Law is alway lucrative if the connections and capacity are there... In my case, Immigration Law... Will do Pro Bono for more civil rights oriented cases to gain exposure for my eventual political carrier... The pool of prominent immigration attorneys in my area is very small... multilingual? forget about it... Most around can only speak English and broken Spanish. I dominate both and working on a 3rd... Impending immigration reform which will materialize soon... will directly lead to the need of capable and competent attorneys that specialize in immigration law...

It depends on the state and who you know. A close friend of mine mother passed the bar last year and is making pretty good money, currently. They are located in NYC.

I'm sure you are right though. I don't keep tabs about that stuff, unless its accounting.

The state DEFINITELY plays a huge role... Some are saturated by firms that handle the exact same type of cases and specialize in the same type of law... while other lucrative law fields are simply deficient of capable attorneys...

Exactly my point, the job market is dry... Those degrees won't get you anywhere unless if you have a connection,  or have extensive experience in that particular field. Unless if you have a degree in Accounting, Engineering, or anything in the medical field, any type of degree is basically non-marketable. A couple of my friends have there masters in Criminology, Business, and Fine Arts... Majority of them spent 6+ years in school and there making an avg of $11 an hour doing retail ... while my girl only spent 12 months in school as an LPN and is making $20+ per hour.....

If your friends have MASTERS in said fields... and cant find employment... then they most likely aren't looking hard enough and/or are seriously showing deficiencies elsewhere... Masters in CJ and cant land a job? LOL Are they looking exclusively within their own area code? Did they get their masters online? lol

Whats the catch?

Ok, now back to the YEEZY II "Red February's"... No more side talk.

I dont know what other boards you frequent, but NT is moderated pretty damn well. If you're that dissatisfied with the way things are run here.... leave.

Go attempt to be relevant elsewhere... You joined in 2008, so clearly you don't know the "golden age" of Niketalk or the previous glory of NikePark for that matter ... 2008? that year probably marked the steady decline in the quality of NT...

Next time I want a corny meme thrown into a discussion I'll make sure to @ you... but thanks anyways.

Then how do you not see the correlation between weak moderating and the influx of members that habitually brake rules... amongst other things that have tarnished the site and facilitated the habitual tomfoolery that goes on not only in this thread but has spread like cancer within all threads?

I joined in (NT) '02 but lurked on NP and then NT since I was a youngin' growing up in the Burbs of DC...so I'm seriously asking you the question... how do you not see the correlation?

 Are you serious ?

There is no way you've been here since '02 if you seriously think more rules are getting broken today than 10 years ago. NT is much more moderated and tame compared to the old days.

Also... "brake" the rules? .... I had to call you out on that for stepping to BigJ
