going to Africa... what's good

Aren't drug laws crazy out there?

Yea...I wouldn't recommend doing anything illegal in Africa, although I used to smoke with my cousins.

Where I was at in central Africa, they didn't feed the prisoners and there was no toilets. You only ate if someone on the outside brought you food and you poop and pee where you stand.

But South Africa ain't like that.

Yam if you want to. If you do, you won't be able to donate blood, EVER. Trust me I am a lab tech.

Wrong. You can donate after 6 months. Trust me, its the only way I get skins tickets.

Sorry I don't have any tips for you but I just wanted to say that's dope one of the things on my bucket list... live it up fam

Haven't been to Ghana in quite some time, but I had a marvelous time during the trip. Awesome weather, great food, & friendly people. Hope you enjoy your time in South Africa

Africa is beautiful. Both my parent are from Ghana. I was born and raised in the states but I've always appreciated my African culture and family. I've been to Ghana 3X the first 2 times I was too young to really take in my surroundings but the last time I went :smh:

...absolutely breath taking. You wanna talk about a sense of belonging. I'm getting misty eyed thinking about it.

anymore tips for the boy?

I'm heading out today at 4..

I read that on these long flights.... try to be as awake as possible when you get on...

people that try to get on tired end up waking up 4 hours in and are toast for the rest of the flight...

I'm going to be well rested and try to stay up as long as possible (maybe 5 to 6 hours) and get some studying in...

then hopefully I get tired as things go...

as far as Africa... I'm trying to soak up as much of the motherland as I can ... my unc got some major stuff to do...

I might slide out and hit the scene a couple nights... I really aint trying to sleep out there... :pimp: :pimp:

As far flight advice just try to keep yourself entertained. Don't really go for actual sleep per say, just more so little 1-2hour naps. When you get there just take in every little thing and take lots of pics! Have fun fam, enjoy yourself!

Damn yall lucky. I can't sleep on planes, im usually awake for 24+ hours when traveling to Africa.

Oh and ricky, they get busy in Johannesburg, so try to dress simple when you get off the plane. We used to rock ball shorts and flip flops but it might be chilly in the southern hemisphere.

And man, get some yambs dawg. Don't let these guys scare you. Is the threat real? Very real but use you instincts and strap up.
