yeah I put that in the context of race because I'm a black male and I can't understand how anyone else views the police; to me...the are a necessary EVIL....however, they do mess with Negroes moreso than anyone else #factsonly.

My friend has this wild story. He was only 15 at the time. His little sister was maybe 10.

He's at home alone and he gets a knock on the door.

It was some cops yelling at the top of their lungs, saying they got a tip about drugs in the apartment

They forcibly tackle my friend and his sister onto the ground. Handcuff them both. Then they ransacked the whole apartment. Turned it inside out until there was nothing left to turn over. They didn't find any drugs.

Instead of leaving right away, they blasted the radio and started dancing.

It was only after, that they took off the handcufs off and walked out of the apartment. They didn't say a word. No explanation. No apologies.

Crazy story to me. :wow:
 
I watched that whole video, and it sounds good in theory but I just don't see how that doesn't just further infuriate the cop and lead to more force or them continuing to further **** with you. The idea of not saying anything to them operates on the assumption they are going by the letter of law and not power-hungry egomaniacs who will take your exercising of the 5th amendment as a defiance to their authority and make you pay because of it. Like look at any of the above interactions posted in this thread, I dont see one that would have ended better if the suspect had just looked at the cops and said, "fifth."

In fact they'll try to use the same logic, "if you didn't do anything, you have nothing to worry about," just like when they try ti get you to consent to illegal search

Fight? My understanding was that she was asked to leave and refused. I guess she could have bee asked to leave over a fight that previously happened. Admittedly, i have only seen a few articles on it. Just adding to and upping a post that is, IMO, about to become extremely important as today the FBI Chief and his cronies were all over the news and in Chicago angling to make filming police illegal.

But little girl was asking for it. The teacher asked her to leave but she didn't. The principal came and asked her to leave but she didn't.

The cop asked her to leave and she was still mouthing off. She was still mouthing off at the end of the video Lmao.

Nothing at all :smh:. What is worse is that there is no reaction to the excessiveness of the officer's actions. Not that I'm expecting them to jump in or stop it, but there is no expression. Nobody saying oh my god, no screaming nothing. Like its another day at blah blah High School. Although we don't know the story behind it all. Just from the video this girl isn't arguing fighting back or anything. The schools need to do better when it comes to the children, and not be so quick to call a cop.

Where is the guidance counselor? Where is the principal? Together they couldn't reason with this young girl and resolved this? What is the point of them needing Masters degrees and such, when all they do is take extreme routes? They need to remember that all kids that act out aren't bad. Some have very troubled lives and dealing with extreme situations at home. This is where the degrees these professionals obtained come in handy.

Again, I know I don't know the background story, but whatever it is doesn't justify this behavior. It is crazy how much power we give these people. They can kill you and your kids, abuse them and nothing will happen.

If a parent came to school and did that to their child because he/she wasn't listening or following instructions. The school wouldn't hesitate to call the police and CPS and report child abuse :smh:.


And that 10 yr old autistic kid being handcuffed and placed on the trunk of the car is straight crazy to me :smh:

Acquitted for kicking suspect in face breaking his jaw, continually changed his story. First claimed he was aiming for the body and missed, then they ran with some bs about how he's getting into a sprinting/football stance and they thought he was about to run, of course they thought he had a gun, he was a felon, shouldn't have done the crime, blah blah blah same ol' same ol'
 
Always interesting to look back at my posts and see my thoughts on such subject matter whenever someone bumps an old thread.

I saw that a couple of days ago. That was disturbing.

Why does it take so many trained officers for a old man?

Why didn't they just leave him cuffed on the bench?
