That's not the same at all. DB is main event ready we don't know if a Reigns is yet although he young boy has talent a next year Rumble win may be way too soon. When Batista came back it was from 4 years if punk were to do that it would be 1 year off from his like 10 years of full time wrestling schedule. No where near the same scenario

roman reigns needs serious mic work.he looks uncomfortable if hes not wrestling.works as a heel,but as a face wont work.it saddens me that u cant improv in the business anymore.everything is scripted smh.i guess thats why orton caught heat for that fan incident even tho it was perfect.it wasnt approved smh.thats one of the reasons why the promos suck these days

yea true,hhh thinks he can be the next vinny mac in the attitude era,but he will always just a be the game not vince.at the end of the day tho vince is allowing him to control backstage so i guess its vinces fault.

It's better.. A lot better than how it started... We just got all the wm's and rr's this week.. Still missing A LOT... And even better, I can see the selection on my tablet, but it won't play vault stuff...

I've been thinking Punk saw what was going on with old talent coming back and getting main events and felt that if he left he could get that wrestlemania main event eventually.

-There is said to be a general feeling within WWE that while Triple H would likely never admit it publicly, he’s offended that CM Punk didn’t want to work with him at WrestleMania XXX. The mindset among many top WWE executives, including Triple H himself, is that working with him is a big deal.
Additionally, it should be noted that the attitude within WWE in regards to the CM Punk situation has changed. At first, many felt like Vince McMahon would eventually resolve the situation, however now the feeling is that Punk isn’t coming back anytime in the forseeable future.
There’s also a feeling that ‘WWE made Punk a lot of money and then he left’ when he got fed up.

All valid points. As much as I love punk, he looks lame. If he would've just finished his contract, no harm, no foul.

I like punk and all but I can deff live without him. everyone is replaceable.
I also was thinking what the wwe will look like in about 4-5 years I think better days are ahead of us. imo

I don't agree. I know punk got a lot of people in here back into wrestling. Although they move on but I still don't think anyone can replace him or did what he did. He did promos without fear of management punishing him. Everyone has a scripted promo nowadays.

like you said everything is scripted. punk portrayed a character. things he did and Said were planned whether people believe it or not. you think punk went out there and pipe bombed and talked all that ish and went that far off script ? that was his character. now whether or not he spoke his mind in the back is a different topic. but his promos were given to him, maybe not word for word, but no one goes out there and just rambles.

punk is nothing compared to those guys. I love punk. liked his character. thought he was great in the ring and on the mic. but I'm not missing him at all

Punk didn't do any promos without fear of management punishing him..I'd say a good 90%+ of his promos were scripted..Him delivering in a believable way that made them seem off the cuff is definitely a credit to him..But I think he gets way too much credit for being this "rebel" type guy when he's just as corporate as the rest of the roster..
