People associate signing their rights over as success for some odd reason.
Sell out culture.
Honestly the industry machine needs to churn out something that appears to be "new" yearly.
These artist fall for that "you're the hottest in the game right now" line too much.
They are not interested in creating careers. They want to sign already established artist. But if you are already established, why sign? Makes no sense to do all the hard work and give someone else the credit.
They just try to own everything they play on their outlets that they also own.

Atlanta LOVES the Migos bruh. I could never listen to them but everywhere i go now i hear someone blasting their music. Them or Young Thug which is surprising to me because all of them sound like they were in the special classes or something.

There's like a 2.5 year span between the two groups relevance.
Travis Porter just aint that talented. They had their fifteen minutes and it was golden.
Great energy, fun music, not enough talent or skill to sustain it.
