Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Movie (Reboot Announced)

My guess is that she's a younger version. They'll trap her in that space garbage can, she'll come back in a sequel older or something.
 
I'm starting to think that this movie will be power rangers in name only. From the lame looking characters to the preliminary background stories for these characters which can best be described as trash, MY BODY IS READY.

I wonder if her outfit has powers and will play a role in creating the power source of the Green Ranger.

I think this movie can be decent. I bet it'll be critiqued heavily by the OG generation...But I'm sure it will be entertaining. Elizabeth Banks is money!
 
I expect her to look better in the finished product but the all green really doesn't strike me as Rita Repulsa.
 
Still holding out hope that the movie can be decent. I'm in the camp that doesn't think they have to copy the og series exactly...

If they wanna change a few things..ok. It's all about the execution.

Rita's suit doesn't look half bad as long as you don't care that it doesn't look anything like her og look.
 
Shouldn't she look haggard though rita wasn't looking fine until she photoshopped her face to seduce zed lol

This isn't the X-Men rocking black leather suits, Bumblebee becoming a Camero, or Supes removing the red undies. Rita is completely indistinguishable from her original character. Like the only way I know that's Rita is because they told me. That's not wavy at all fam.
 
Lost hope the minute I heard about the casting. Rita ain't helping it either. I'm expecting Transformers/Ninja Turtles level of trash from this movie.
 
When they do these reboots producers should have panels with the generation that the show was popular in to give some input. I don't get it.
