OFFICIAL 2014 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

Is Lacy a reliable RB2 to go with in the playoffs?
RB1 imo. He doesn't have the volume of a true RB1, but the production is there. And with the way that offense is playing as a whole I see him continuing to eat. if you have him as your RB2 you should be golden.

Yep. Bell's value is boosted in PPR leagues as well. Lacy not so much, although he has done some damage in the pass game since week 7-8.

Le'Veon is the #2 RB in my standard PPR league. I'd say he's a high level RB1.

Lacy is #10 I think, which I would consider a RB1.

percy harvin vs buffalo
brandon lafell vs detroit
michael crabtree vs washington
steve smith vs new orleans

pick 2. PPR league and 1 point for every 20 return yards

Bell is much more reliable than Lacy

Lacy has been showing out but his runs have been pretty mediocre. He's gotten most of his production off long screen plays on receptions.

I have Lacy as a reliable RB2.. I have Forsett, Lacy and D. Robinson.. I would rank Lacy in the middle of those two tbh

For what it's worth:
Jason Cole @JasonPhilCole

Appears 1 of top teams in waiver process (in order #Raiders, #Jaguars, #Bucs, #Titans, #Jets) will claim RB Ben Tate. Not going to contender
Waivers clear at 4pm EST. Jags beat writer has said it isn't JAX so continue starting Shoelace with confidence.

You can't always look at overall rank as a true gauge of whether or not someone is a high-end fantasy player imo. Bell is definitely an RB1, but I honestly wouldn't say he's high-end. He's had three 30 point games (and a 28 pointer) which has sort of inflated his overall ranking. Other than that, he primarily scores in the 15-17 point range, which are more average/back-end RB1 type numbers imo. On the other hand, Lacy had a dismal start to the season, which deflated his ranking. And he's really turned it on over his past 6 or so games. In regards to his scoring range, Forsett has been pretty consistent all season long.

I look at high-end RB1s as scoring 20+ points on a fairly consistent basis (PPR). Guys like Forte, Murray, Foster, Charles. Might even put Lynch in there although he had a terrible three game stretch earlier this season.

Since week 5, Lacy has four 20+ pointers (28, 26, 23, 26) in six games (had his bye in week 9). During that same span, Bell has three 20+ pointers (28, 20, 33) in seven games (has not had his bye yet). He only has one more 20+ point game over the entire season (11 games), which came in week 1 (31 points). Forsett only has two 20+ point games (22, 23) all season. Other than those 2 games, he's only scored above 15 points three times. He normally scores in the 10-15 point range. Judging by those numbers, I'd say Lacy is more of a high-end RB1 than Bell. I'd consider Forsett more of a RB2.

Bottom line: I'd want all of them on my team. In the end all the numbers I just churned out mean nothing, and they're all viable RB1/2s no matter which way you slice it .

Or
Is Le'Veon Bell a reliable RB2 to go with in the playoffs?
Both, prefer Bell over Lacy.

percy harvin vs buffalo
brandon lafell vs detroit
michael crabtree vs washington
steve smith vs new orleans

LaFell and Harvin.

OBJ slightly.

couple questions....

im starting crowell over ellington and percy....PPR league and get return yards...good move?

also got big ben is on bye week...i feel so stupid too dropping brady for him after first 4 weeks lol but anyway some of the qbs i was considering this week Vick, alex smith, josh mccown...what you guys think?
Crowell over Harvin and Ellington this week.

McCown over Alex Smith.

Was offered either Demarco or Forte for Jimmy and Odell Beckham...

Currently have:

Brady

Gio/Hill/Vereen/Denard/Blue

Cobb/Marshall/OBJ/Matthews

Gronk/Graham

PPR... Worth it? Or stay with what I have?

I'm excited to see what Josh Gordon can bring to my team this week...My receivers consist of Gordon, Megatron, D-Jax, and Antonio Brown.

Roddy White vs Browns
OBJ vs Cowboys

pick one. Leaning towards OBJ. But ATL is at home and might show out
Tough one...OBJ would be good against Dallas if Eli wasn't playing like trash. I'd go with Roddy but you also have to remember that Cleveland is gonna have Joe Haden on him so I would be careful

I was able to get Gordon off waivers and I'm 3-8. Didn't wanna see him on anyone's team

I did add Gordon to my team on Fanduel tho. He said he's "ready to tear the league up" :smokin
