Air Jordan 10 "Chicago" Retro for 2015 feat. #45

It looks like a 3/28 release day on these via nicekicks, 20 years to the day of the 55 points at MSG.

JB is really pushing this "Double Nickel" theme even though MJ wasn't even wearing the "45" version yet. I know most people probably don't care, but I personally find it annoying that they are basically misleading people to create/boost hype.

Also, 2/14 for the red "Bulls Over Broadway" pair.

Releasing these 20 years to the day of the double nickel game is legit, even if it wasn't the "45" version he was wearing.

Out of the initial three pairs of remastered Jordan's I'm copping (Oreos and Stealths being the other two), these might be the hardest ones to get.

I feel like the hype is about to be through the roof...

Wish they'd given us Shadow X's instead, morons over there srsly. :smh:

Don't really see how they're misleading people. So what if he didn't wear them during the game itself? That still allows them to release a new, special version, to celebrate the event. It doesn't require them to release the exact same things he wore during every instance of his career.

I guess "implying" would have been more appropriate. I mean, if they're calling them the "Double Nickle" & releasing them 20 years to the day of that game I'm sure most people assume that's the shoe he wore that game with the "45". Especially when for the 2012 release there was no real mention of MSG.

Like I said, I'm sure most don't care & I know it's not that serious. I just found it kind of interesting & thought someone else might too.

Still copping.

Keep in mind that most people aren't like us, and won't know those facts you just mentioned, unless Nike chooses to market them that way. And honestly if they just say that its a special edition to celebrate the game itself I think that'd clear it all up.

Definitely copping regardless. Didn't buy the 2012 pair, and stopped looking for a pair last year, because these were confirmed to come out. I prefer the sockliner on this pair, and the 45 anyways.

(Though I honestly expect to see the Chicago's release again, with the rest of the City Pack, when the anniverssary of the X's rolls around)

id have to scope out the perfect target that wouldn't  know the difference

I am very curious what these X's will be with the whole so-called remastered ****.

It's a dream of mine to get pops a pair of J's. and he feels the powder blue's so I know for a fact he'll like these. Hell, I like them more than the ones I own.

Question to everyone who has owned, does own,or seen OG's, does the red shade still look off?!?! I can only go on pics of the og chi town X's and the shade of the red look diff pls sumone post pics of on hand og if u have and chime in if you're knowledgeable about the color...

I dont mind no #, or w/#23 or #45 on em. I do like the non checkered sock liner more than with but that still don't bother me much.

I just want these Chicago X's too be more exact too his pair when he returned rather than the 2012 retro Mold/shape.

IMO with these having #45 on em they will remain DS as A pair of my AJ collection The Return of MJ "I'm Back"!.....

I planned on ballin in my 2012 chicago X pair on Sunday for my 2nd city league mens game. Going for A "Doubl Nickle" lol.

It's possible my 1st game last sunday we lost by 7 being down by 25 at half we made a come back with my game high leading 43 points

ballin in my M10's YOTH pair. I love the AJ XX8/AJ SE XX8, and M10's too ball in with these soles on em. Since hoopin in these

It's hard for me now too wear a Retro AJ too ball in. I only hoop in AJ retro X's,XI's,XII's,XIII's,XIV's, XX8's,KB I's,II's,VII's, and KB nike 2K

huarache purple/blk, grey Laser edition.

srs question. Why are people excited for the "45" on this but hate the "23" on the 5s?
I can't speak for others, but here's my answer.

I've only seen him wear #45 on 2 shoes: the X and XI.

Would kill to have both of those the way he wore them. SHadow X w/ a 45, Chicago X w/ a 45, and concords w/ a 45.

Don't understand the hate for the V w/ a 23. I love them.
