Five Guys > In N Out

From Chicago but i just got back from Cali and no competition for me its In N Out all day. They need one here. $3.50 gets you a perfect double double animal style :smokin
View media item 1072153Respect to Five Guys though as their burgers are delicious and they have better fries. But $9 for a double cheeseburger!?! :x I can get two Double Doubles and a drink at In N Out. Appreciate the jalapenos and other additions.
View media item 1072125For the price of a Five Guys burger I'd rather do the hour wait and eat at Hodad's in Cali

EDIT: I totally forgot to eat at Slaters 50/50 while I was there... The regret

It's $9 with the fries. They fill the entire bag up with fries, that's like $5 right there.

BK Stacker literally puts all other burgers to shame

not srs

5 guys is straight but overpriced

In N Out is good but ppl need to take it for what it is. A good fast food burger that's reasonably priced and way better than McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's etc

Out here in CA In N Outs are everywhere so it's not something special. Just a good fast food burger

Shake shack >>>>>

Had Shake Shack for the first time, it was OK probably need to try more of the menu, but those fries and the lemonade are on point doe. :pimp:

Whataburger is still The Lord of burgers doe.

:wow: A Cheedar's mention on NT?! They coming up in the world.. :pimp:

Had shake shack for the first time last week and I liked it had to been the best burger I had in a long time

I have 5 guys almost once a week

It's good in moderation, but I can't take 5 guys everyday like a lot of y'all do

The meat is ALWAYS perfect and thick

First time I had 5 guys I had to be 13, 14

I'll stick to 5 guys

There's no way the innuendos weren't done on purpose here.
The fact that all these quotes came from one post alone

Had In n Out and Fatburger when I was in Vegas a few years back. In N Out was heavenly, the best chain burger I've ever had. Fatburger was wildly disappointing, most hyped up trash ever. Seriously fatburger was my biggest food let down ever, before that it was Harolds in Chicago.

Been having 5 guys for the last 8 years or so, but haven't eaten it in like 2 years because I honestly think their burgers are hella overrated, tasteless, and hella greasy. Those burgers are death and I refuse to partake in that.

Once I moved to NYC I've been having Shake Shack every few months or so and it's pretty bomb. Only had Whattaburger once so I can't really rank it but my list of chain burgers goes:

1. In N Out
2. Shake Shack
3. Trader Joes Turkey Burger I make
4. 5 guys
5. Wendy's, BK, Checkers
6. My own spit
7. Yeezus
8. Fatburger

I prefer In-n-out over 5-guys or Shake Shack but they're all pretty good. 5 guys is fairly consistent but it's way better if you have it there vs take out. Shake Shack is more the fact that it's good for the other stuff you can get there like the frozen custard, beers, etc.

fries are so on point....

fast food feudal lords forgive me for what I am about to do.

Shake Shack fries > McDonalds fries.

That's how people do take it.

And people are only calling it overrated because you had your expectations too high. It's not restaurant style burger. It's still fast food. And it's good quality unlike BK, Mcdonalds and all that other trash. The only other decent big chain burger place is Carls Jr.

And what is checkers? That's Rally's right?

I had SmashBurger for the first time a couple weeks back. Shakes and fries (rosemary) are good, but the burgers are okay. Maybe I expected too much.

IMO, Five Guys is still the best burger place, but its' major flaw is that they have no milkshakes.

And on a side note, Wendy's has been on the come up with their products. Bacon Pretzel Cheeseburger is awesome.
