Remember being in class I was in fourth grade and a girl spotted the first tower being on fire out the window. We all went looked then say back down then same girl said the tower collapsed and we all rushed to the windows to see. After that we didn't do any schoolwork the rest of the day

I remember that day like it was yesterday. I was in high school. I was on the way to school and I remember hearing something on the radio about the first plane crashing. I kind of ignored it, didn't know all the details and I was running late.
Then when I get to my first class, news spread that it crashed into the WTC and soon after a 2nd plane crashed into the 2nd building. First time ever in school where even the teacher had the TV on watching the news, and not teaching the normal lessons.
When I got to my history class my teacher was silent when we all walked in. Then he said, "remember this day, you'll never forget where you were and what you were doing for the rest of your lives."

He was right. After the towers fell, I really thought that we were at war or something. We were being attacked and I just felt like damn, the US is gonna destroy the people responsible for this.

Still can't believe it happened. All the videos and footage of it make it seem like some type of disaster movie.

I remember I was in the fourth grade back then, and a bunch of kids had left school early because we were so close to DC. Never realized how crazy this was until after it had already happened though. |I

hell of a day.
freshman in high school and could see the smoke clouds coming from the sitewhile driving down a prominent hill in my area after school on the bus .
The jumpers and those that perished in the collapse??....smh.
and the audio recordings and reactions right as the towers collapsed.....utterly chilling.
Couldn't pay me to work in that new tower/mass grave site.
