The Official Adidas D Lillard 1

Yeah, would've like to see a little bit more black in there.  Red metallic heel tab is awesome though.

I don't own a pair so I can't speak from experience, but there is a big vent on the medial size of the shoe if that helps.
 
How much do the sock-like uppers break in and/or stretch?

Sized down as noted and the toe is OK, but the top of my foot is pretty snug.

A lot of basketball shoes out there don't have great ventilation and these are no exception. It's not bad but Rip City isn't a pair you want to get if ventilation is your concern because of yellowing or supposed bleeding on the RC pair. Primeknit version is better if you need ventilation.

If ventilation is your main concern you should just wear sandals or crocs. Ventilation of bball shoes across sneaker brands is going to be similar across the board. Wear any pair of shoes long enough and your feet are going to get hot.

Thanks for the advice guys. I love the design of the rip city's but I dont ball and ventilation is important to me. I'll stick to runners.
 
The ventilation in these are not bad at all, but then again I live way up north in canada and the a/c in the gym we play in always feels like it's turned all the way up to eleven.

Ordered TTS and I was happy with the fit even having about a thumbs width of room in the toe, but this shoe really locks your foot in so it wasn't a big deal for me.
 
What would you guys suggest, the Lillard 2 Aurora Borealis (Boost Version) or the Lillard 2 Static (Bounce Version)?  I've never played in either type but I'm going to be receiving a pair of choice from my Adidas connect.  
 
I've played in the CL Boost 2015 which has a similar, if not identical boost/adiprene+ midsole setup and the Lillard 2 aways.

I'd take the full bounce setup personally.  More than that, I'm waiting for the 2016 releases.  No more of this half boost BS.  Full-length boost in bball shoes won't be exclusive to Rose's line anymore.
 
Has anyone found the sock-lick liner on the Lillard 2 to stretch at all after on court wear? 
 
Copped some Statics last night (my first pair of D Lillard 2.0s) and wow, I'm loving them. A tiny bit of heel slippage but it's probably because I didn't lace them tight enough. Traction is very good and shoe feels stable. Not the lightest shoe but they're not heavy by any means.

I sized down a 1/2 size and they fit perfect, even a little bit of room in the toe box. Can't wait for PDX Carpets.

That yellow heel is sweet, if they had yellow outsole I'd make something similar. Ya'll got me tempted to order the $125 priced pair with a 15% code but as soon as I order the 30% will surface.

Sorry, I'm new here, I was thinking about customizing a pair. What is this 30% coupon you speak of?! is it a F&F thing?
 
Every now and then Adidas does a sitewide 30% off code, with some exclusions like Ultra Boosts and what not.

Pretty generous when you think about it.  I can't think of any other major brand that ever does that.  Everyone is waiting for it to go in on shoes and miadidas stuff I'm sure.

I like the first link better man. Navy and red just go together better for me (even tho my college color is yellow).

Also, props on the contrasting mesh color, I like it. Migh have to play around with a similar design myself.

Your first one looks almost exactly like the USA themed D Lillard 2 I made. I'll probably grab the statics for now and wait for a 30% coupon to order a miadidas custom.

I dislike how the white jacquered option has the design in black/grey. Wish it was all white like the rip city.

seriously......when some of these guys here said the rip citys arent re-releasing, i was devestated. they definitely are the best colorway from all the GRs and the tiffany colored preview. GOOD LOOKING OUT ADULT SIZES COME BACK!!!!! 30% coupon COME BACK!!!!
