working the last day of the job u hate...

dude relax. we see your side, and how dude treated you bad.

its just that keying a man's car is something female do, and we disagree with THAT action.
I don't believe in ascribing gender roles to keying a car. Whether a man or women keys a car doesn't make a difference because the action of keying a car produces the same results.

That calling my actions a female move honestly offends me to be honest here.

I'll just leave it at this. I would never key a car or damage someone's property for no reason. Had I had discipline problems and deserved to be fired, I would own up to it and take my L

I've had no type of problems at any of my other jobs and left them all on good terms.

However as I've said, when you try to screw someone over and affect their earnings, and threaten a bad reference to prevent future earnings. You deserve serious consequences. People have bills and responsibilies to pay and some jerk is going to try and prevent you from taking care of those. Hell no, there's consequences for your actions in that situation.

I was tempted to swing on him right there, thought hard about it and weighed out alternative scenarios to get him back where I wouldn't get in trouble for doing it.

Going further. A friend of mine who used to post on here was known for getting 2 fellow niketalkers fired from their jobs over personal beefs they had. Won't say his name but if you were on here in 2011 you know who I'm talking about.

That's my mans but I told him straight up that what he did was a punk move and if he got hands put on him that he deserved it. Bottom line, you don't mess with someone's income for unwarranted reasons otherwise you deserve whatever payback happens to you.

Call it Karma homie. His key being keyed was Karma

I don't have a problem with him keying dudes car. I've keyed several cars in my lifetime. Nothing better than make joe jackass have to take his beloved Benz to the dealership to have his paint fixed.

Thank you. I see you read the whole original post as to what pushed me to key his car in the first place.

What makes it worse is dude waited a couple months later to do it. :smh: :x

Did you read why I did it? Or are you just pure ignorant to how I was blatantly screwed over. Maybe your a street cat but the workplace isn't the street. I couldn't handle my dispute there physically.

Get your facts straight before you talk ignorance.

How am I talking "ignorance"?

You said that you waited a couple of months and then keyed his car.

My facts, which you happen to be the source of, are very straight.

Your ignorant because you refuse to acknowledge why I did what I did. Your trying to play it as if I did to an innocent person for no reason.

No it pretty much makes you a broad.

Do you feel that someone should fire someone for no reason and make threats to hinder their future income if they don't sign a resignation form by making threats to give a bad reference because they don't want to pay unemployment for that person they fired for unwarranted reasons so they can have something coming in while they get back on their feet and not have any type of retribution or accountability for their actions?

It was polorico.

Just because you give a reason for doing something, doesn't necessarily mean I have to agree with it.

I would never, under any circumstance, key someone's car. Like, the idea would never, ever enter my mind.

You still haven't answered how I should've responded. Care to do so?

Have you ever had a similar situation happen to you?

This isn't about what you should've done, it's about what you did. And what you did was something that would never cross my mind.

Yeah because I vandalized an innocent persons car who did nothing wrong right?

If you read exactly why I did it and still think its a bad move then I question how you treat people in your daily interactions.

Yes or no, is it ok what my former employer tried to pull? Don't deflect. Answer the question.
