An old fling invites you to their wedding...

 I guess I'm just wondering why she's actually going through with what I thought was a joke. Like, I have memories of our escapades. I'm just curious as to why she's want me there as she gives her vows to be with another man for the rest of her life.

I think you care more about what you guys had than she does.

Go. Wish her well. **** a lonely bridesmaid.

A lot of people **** around stop then become friends afterwards.

Honestly you should go. Then when she's saying her vows stand up and object. Then proceed to WIO.

In all seriousness, if you guys are still cool to this day and would consider her a real friend ;then, yes you should go. Now if you guys aren't then don't go. Do you, OP, do you.

I'm literally in this situation if I get the chance I'm going. She had some good box too.

Show up. Object the union. Read EWD's "you should choose me" text. Walk out.

I'd go... Tell her husband to smack her on the *** and play some Al Green... she likes that.

But seriously, I'd go just to mingle with the bridesmaids... I like awkward situations

I can definitely understand why you wouldn't/aren't going tho, do any of her friends know yall used to smang?

I am confused as to how this works out. She can be my friend if shes sends the alley on more yambs, starts buying my time or in the rare case is mad interesting. Just simply talk friends, don't understand that.

Yep. Her best friend from back then, who I can only imagine will be her maid of honor, knew about it.

It really is comical that dudes think I have some feels tucked away from ol' girl. Like I said, she was cool but I never saw her in that light. Never will. I just question why she wants me going because it seems disrespectful to her man. Like, two men in this room have had their way with you and the one you're dedicating your life to has no idea about the other. That's my thought process.

a blinkin a blinkin , just a theory: Groom is inviting someone from his past. Bride doesn't a)necessarily agree with it, or b) didn't know about. Your her past endeavor that she's bringing.

You'll be the "something old" and "something blue."

Kidding about the blue thing.

Just judging by the responses in this thread I can tell some of y'all don't care for OPs welfare.

You trying to tell this man to go to his old flings wedding....a wedding where the groom is going to present with 6 of his mens who more than likely are not for the play play. Who knows how big these ****** gonna be. Regardless, son is gonna be outnumbered. You telling me that OP is gonna go to the bathroom, might run Into the groom or one of his mens, and ain't **** gonna pop off once they ask son "how you know my wife?" . Let's be real, B  it just takes one holla. Groom will have the goons pop out the woodworks and give son that WORK right in the bathroom stall.

I'm just saying play it safe. Leave the past in the past. If you want an open bar, get to the club before 11AM. It ain't worth risking ya life B. Groom and his mans gonna be off the Henny during the whole reception, you can't tell me that that's not a recipe for disaster.

Be safe Fam. I think you shouldn't go. But if you do go, be cautious

a blinkin won't get shanked in the can....least i hope he won't. smash them bridesmaids yambs if you go though b.

OP still has feelings for her.

Bride wants him there for the gift money/registry item.

Best of luck fam. tricky situation.

Op sounds like you caught feelings pimp

If an ex invited me somewhere. Where free food, alchohol, and easy yambs would be Id be there without the need of a thread

I'm not a big wedding acquaintance guy. I only attend if it's a real bond.

Plus, since you asking questions about it, it seems you got some suppressed feelings for shorty. And you never know what type of emotions that type of situation is gonna evoke until you're put on that stage.

Plus, I think its disrespectful to the dude. I'll be damned if I'd allow a dude at my wedding that my soon to be wife smashed. If he don't know about you and yalls past, then you don't need to be there strictly out of respect.
Suppressed feelings? maybe he thinks it's disrespectful to the dude .... Just like you do.

But let me guess, he shouldn't care about the disrespect because he doesn't personally know the guy right?

Op, put yourself in the groom's position and ask yourself how you would feel if your loving bride invited all the dudes she allowed to penetrate every part of her body and exchange fluids with.

Everything that you wondered, suspected or ignored would become too real .....especially when you can put faces to it

Just my opinion.

I usually don't respond to jabs but this is the most nonsensical interpretation one can make. I don't know dude so naturally I'm forced to assess my opinion based upon conjecture, which necessitates formulating an opinion on all possibilities. And how could you presume I intended the last insinuation when I explicitly stated the opposite.

You mad dumb yo

That is what you consider a jab? if I'm "mad dumb" then you're the most sensitive dude on the forum
