Living above your means to floss on IG

With the way the current generation treats social media it's really not they simple.
Many times you don't realize how corny people are until you see them on Instagram and see the **** they been posting. If this person was a friend in real life you can't just unfollow at that point.

And just because you CAN post something on Instagram doesn't mean you SHOULD post something on Instagram.

Lastly I don't know why dudes arguing with DC here.
He been sonnin a lot of you cats this entire thread.

And why do you care? Society this and that, does it do anything to you? Who are you to call someone corney? You claim to know their intentions for posting a pic but do you really? Y'all's judgement calls on people tell more about yourselves

man this stupid argument "why do you care" "how does it affect you" need to get out of y'all minds...

what a defeatist point of view....so anything in society that doesn't affect us directly we should ignore?

what kind of lame *** line of thinking is that....why can't someone have a f'ing opinion without someone saying "do you".....foh b....i'll comment and talk about the idiots of society all i want...and if i want to watch them and clown them at the same time on IG i will do that as well...

does it change my life? am i sitting here smashing my keyboard? no....do i follow a bunch of thots on IG and laugh (i.e. cardi_bb) yes...

but you have to look at the bigger picture...IG is a huge facade...

something that needs to be addressed and not simply ignored "do you b...and if it bothers you unfollow"...guess what you can't unfollow real life...that **** is trickling down to real life situations...

Ricky how many times do I have to say I enjoy observing the thjngs.people do so it doesn't bother.me? This is the 3rd time I am saying this. Not.sure how you haven't seen this.

I was posing that question to the entire thread... That's why I didnt quote you.

Sorry for the mix up, mayne. I saw what you put earlier.

Because people often times dont see the big picture.

Blacks and Hispanics will do the most to LOOK like they are balling when in reality they are living paycheck to paycheck.

They dont see how its a systemic problem within the community.  Not saving, living for today, never thinking about tomorrow is why our cultures are not progressing as quickly as we should.  Part of that is poor education opportunities but another part is cultural values.  When your mom buys you jordans every month or every two months or so all you learn is that looking good is more important than saving money you are thus raised with no concept of how money really works.

And the thing is people love to compare themselves to famous businessmen and financiers but they never notice that financiers are flashy because they can afford to be flashy. They already own a nice home or condo, drive, a nice car, graduated from a good school, etc.  They weren't on the block pulling up in a new lexus when they still renting.

I feel you from a racial perspective that we're much more inclined to show off on social media

But bruh... I'm telling you...

White folks do it too...

I'd understand this response more if it wasn't from Mr all things all day hater himself.

If you going to come at me with the "why do you care" argument you better off acknowledging that you really have no argument.

It's lame b, it just is.
Ever see someone take a picture of their food at a restaurant to post on IG? Ever notice how they look around d to see if anyone is watching? Or if the flash accidentally goes off they look around to see who looks at them?
They're embarrassed for a reason, b.
It's ******* corny.

I take pictures of my food with no problem. It's the ones at the 3 star restaurant looking for some ig love

So when we say why do you care...

You retort with "it just is, b"

Yeah, if you're just gonna be on some "just do you" or "just unfollow them" steez then don't come in here.

On that note, I think we all have atleast one douche we all continue to follow just because of how entertaining they are to watch do dumb *** **** and live like an 18 year old still at 25+

This one white dude I went to high school with posts nothing but pics of the weed and Molly he sells, bottles of grey goose, some corny *** Diamond tees and fake Gucci belts he has  everybody else I know has unfollowed him but I can't help myself from watching.

Why?

Only pictures I take are of my kids. Because they won't be little forever. They're for me, nobody sees them unless they ask.

Other than that it never occurred to me to whip out my phone and take a picture of some ******* animal fries or some shoes.

****** look wild lame doing photo shoots of some basic *** ****.

I'm not here to convince anyone otherwise but I guess since you don't do it, you're probably just imaginingto those people who take things to the extreme. Me, personally, I've never seen anybody take more than a few seconds to snap a pic, type some hashtags, and move on.

But then again, I don't really watch other people like that so who know how long they've been trying to get the right angles and/or searching popular hashtags.

People that search popular hashtags are some of the biggest lames on this earth.

I don't watch anyone either but its hard not to notice that people are trying extra hard when they're posting multiple photos, using multiple filters at multiple angles of a damned steak.

And then you got dudes on NT that post those pics of sneakers theyre wearing while jumping.

You just know they took extra long to take some shots of some GR Jordans.

That's definitely true. I follow a few NT'ers on the 'gram and I've always wondered how the hell they get those ground shots of them wearing shoes. It can't be as silly as I'm picturing
