Wasted A LOT of time in my life, What JOB prospects do I have ? PLEASE HELP

Ya, the main reasons for a job is to gain stability. Knowing how much money you will have every pay check is a lot less stressful then starting with 0 every month and not knowing what you will and can sell that month. The online selling world has become real cutthroat. Unless you're always ahead of the game with your products first it's tough to make it a reliable source of income. A real job would also provide weekends off (if it's a mon-fri gig) and come with benefits etc. when your single it's all good to life like this but I'm ready to settle down and need a reliable source of income to fall back on.

Op
What you selling and pics of said gf :nerd:
And on a serious note
Im serious about those pics b the **** you think this is

**** man if i could handle driving a truck without taking mirrors off left and right i'd give ups a shot. good company, solid job not that demanding, sometimes they offer stock options.

Yeah not a bad gig, and they're not all long runs, got some short run drivers caking. I know one that retired early and runs a lounge now.

Finish college man, that's the only option. With a degree you can get an entry level position in any market for 50-55k. Full benefits and can move up quickly. Just bite the bullet and finish man, it will pay for itself.

What? what bachelors will get you 50-55k? I would love to work for that company. Nowdays bachelors dont mean **** unless youre getting engineering/bio degree

95k saved but business isnt going well?

Does not compute. If you banked that much and dont have the business acuimen to start another venture or make that 95k turnover i might off myself. Im clearly doing everything wrong.

You know what. Lemme hold 75. Ill get you 10% every 60 days. PM me.Srs.

dude wants a guaranteed wage to support a family without worrying about anything. dudes acting like 95k is 5 milly.

Exactly bros. the fact of selling online provides no secure or guaranteed income on a day to day, week to week etc basis. How can you ever feel secure when trying to provide for a family? You don't even have any idea how much you can spend that month. It's stressful for everyone. I rather just get a 9-5 m to f type gig and continue to sell online as a side gig. Need to provide some sort of security for the wife/kids and know that bills will be paid for and taken care of. Online selling is real up and down. Sometimes stuff sells in waves and sometimes it just sits. Trying to have a family, that lifestyle will not work.

Any engineering degree will probably land at least $50-55k starting.

It's hard to get a job now a days with just a bachelors, so it's very very difficult to just transition into a corporate office type job.

Theoretically, you could become a stockbroker by just taking the Series 7 and 63/66. A couple of my friends went that route after dropping out of college and are able to make a pretty good living off of it. However, it's still very difficult to get into major brokerage firms nowadays because they tell me that bachelors are a dime a dozen in their job applicants.

With Rails development (as mentioned by someone previously) you could make decent money without a degree as well, but if you have no prior knowledge or minimal interest in programming it would be even more difficult to get a job than a stockbroker. The 3 - 6 month programs (which tend to be very rigorous) give you the basics you need to learn how to develop programs, however, most corporate level employers still don't hire from these places due to a lack of formal education. Afterward you'll end up likely working for a small start up or freelancing, which leaves you with the same job security you have with online retail.

^ I cosign that. A lot of my friends who graduated college with me from mid-tier schools that haven't been able to get into med school, even with 3.8's and 4.0's, substantial lab and shadowing experience, and decent (33 - 35) MCAT scores, are just taking up random jobs to make ends meet. I have a friend who took up a lab tech job in Maryland making 38k a year, another guy that's working in a lab and driving a fruit delivery truck in LA, and another working retail at Macy's in NYC.

i wouldnt recommend someone looking for consistent work to support a family to become a stockbroker or get involved with stocks. that's the type of career choice you make when you have nothing to worry about or lose. if you want a guaranteed salary to support your family, there's better avenues than trying your hands at stocks which chops up 90% of people.

if anything, i'd get that guaranteed job and on the side learn the market gradually, using the simulator and working your way into very small size at a time until you have a ton stacked and have maintained consistency for over a year.

I've seen cats flourish on starting with 5k. I wouldn't go to a college or university to find your trade. IMO it wouldn't be worth it at your age.

Honesty you need to make that side gig a full time investment for yourself. If you have 95k saved up your clearly flourishing with it. Working at a desk would be Beta level 9000 at this point for you. Be a Bawse
What have the people with 5k done to flourish? jw

BSN degree, man.

You can clear 6 figures easy. :smokin

To OP, I highly suggest checking out nursing. I know it's hard work, but you need to bear it if you want to really have a family.

My other suggestion would be to join the military or check out working at Costco. I've heard it's pretty decent working for them.

$95k is a lot.

You could could put $50 on a deposit and buy a nice home in Detroit.

With $94,950 left you could either use another $50 and payoff the entire house or save it and ballout
