Anyone picking up the Apple Watch?

I liked my flip phones. A few years ago no one really knew that touchscreen phones would be the norm.
 
Not at the price Apple is charging. Probably just get a Moto 360 when the 2nd gen comes out

CEO Tim Cook said he showers with it so you're in luck.  I shower with my watch on and showered with the Nike Fuel Band.  My question is with the battery life.  I imagine when they first announced it you could sleep with it and there'd be app(s) to monitor sleep but looks like you gotta charge it nightly.

you'll need to charge it nightly. maybe the next rendition will have a better battery but yeah this needs to be charged. it was delayed initially because of the battery only lasting a few hours but sounds like they tweaked that to make it run for longer on its basic settings.

I'm thinking about copping a $10K to help China meet that demand .... Especially if the US gets them first.

As much as I'd love to pre-order...I don't think I have a use for it at the moment....Probably will wait till the end of the year.
 
I want to pre-order but first I'm seeing if any of my friends who work for apple will let me use that 50% since half them say they aren't copping lol.

Just preordered.  I used the Apple store app if it matters.  Have the card and address you're gonna use already saved to the account to make it faster.  I wanted to use another card, and different  address to ship since I was probably gonna be at work when they send it so I had to change that on the spot.  I would have probably had that stuff saved to make it go through faster but it's done so it doesn't matter.
