Lakers org seems determined to halt the development of whatever young talent they have not named Clarkson.

Perhaps.. But at the same time.

The Lakers are developing Julius Randle as a PF - if/when he proves he's ready, they may try him at SF - but not currently on the menu

I think down the line, they will eventually try him at the 3. Not primarily, but to run a big lineup.

Which goes to my initial point when he was drafted that he wants to be on the perimeter ala LO and not on the block like ZBo. He'll have to develop 3pt range in order for that to be effective.

Hell Cal had to practically beg him to get his butt down low right Ska?

I don't think he really cares where he plays on the court..

I don't think he is necessarily comfortable shooting 3s. But at the same time he knows that in this NBA, he has to be able to.

I see Randle as a guy who does what Millsap does. Not many people watch the Hawks, but I can see him playing very similar to Millsap.

And I don't think Cal had to beg him to go on the block. They just centered the offense around him on the block from my recollection.

Also welcome Rondo to the Lakers if he's going to keep playing like this

. Playoff Rondo back?

The guy lost a lot of his quickness.

Major knee injury will do that too ya...

Rondo cannot finish at all. Don't remember him like this. If he is a Laker........

I really doubt it though.

And Pincus specifically said the Lakers have no plans at Randle developing at SF. So everyone chill.

Randle reminds me of these two.

Cal defintiely made him focus on the block.

Rondo is so scared of going to the line, he's throwing up these soft floaters to avoid any contact.

I see Blake, I see Lee, I see Millsap. Millsap has a longer wingspan than Randle (which makes Sap a great stealer/a good blocker), while Lee and Blake have similar wingspans. I think Randle is quicker than all three of those guys off the dribble. I see a really good player if he can stay healthy (obviously).

I feel pretty good that he'll at least be a productive starter. Maybe a fringe All-Star level player with some hard work and luck.

No lemon. He's not as athletic as Blake causing that crazy meme in the other thread

but there are definitely similarities. I'll definitely agree with that. Definitely can see him developing that passing instinct as well.

And I see him more than a productive starter. I definitely see a prime 20/10 player, but I wonder how his rebounding is going to be impacted with him possibly being perimeter oriented like Blake? We'll see. I hope he doesn't go away from the inside though, but is able to mix and match.

Hopefully Love doesn't come here, Monroe doesn't come here, Rondo doesn't come here. I don't like Tobias either.

All depends on the draft, but I wouldn't mind going after Carroll, Danny Green, Robin Lopez. Those sorts of guys. Probably missing a few too.

Also wouldn't be surprised if some asset gets traded i.e this pick, Randle, or Clarkson. They need to get good enough to attract free agents in 2016.

Athleticism is more than just jumping up and down but whatever . More fluid and quicker feet than bg, possibly more skilled/better shooter. Looking forward to watching him develop
