Yo! Those are clean IMO. Maybe not the next Jordan but definitely could have seen these being a hot team Jordan back in the early 2000s. the red sections on the sides remind me a little of the camp 23 pack... one of my favorites.
I wouldn't mind you taking over the Team Jordan section over at JB if you got more designs like this. JB really needs to get the passion back they used to put into the team line.

Personally I think it's great to have confidence, and you believe this and put yourself out there and posted your sketch on a public board. With that said, you should know people will be skeptical and your story of what happened or didn't would be challenged. At the end of the day it doesn't matter what people say. Go and get a job or internship at Nike or another athletic company if your passion is there, or add the sketch to your portfolio and find a design house to work for.....but do something to find the kitchen....cause it ain't coming to you. Lastly, my opinion is the sketch looks like The Kobe (now called the Crazy 1) and the Kobe 2 modeled after the Audi TT.

Ya he said they were originally designed to be the Kobe 3 and after he left adidas he pasted the Jumpman on there to be a Jordan shoe

definitely feel some 7 inspiration with it but it's just enough to where it still feels like it's own shoe. Just like a lot of the early team J's. These are worlds better than true flights that's for sure.

Didn't see that, but I don't often go back in threads. if he actually did any design work at Adidas and this was it, they have claim to it. Could be an issue as to why he's not in the kitchen, potential legal and ethical issues. Google Mattel and the Brats huge legal case......I thought he was a just a kid sketching.

In all seriousness though if someone's dream is too work at Nike/JB there's a lot of hard work and networking needed. Last year I had two interviews, one phone and one video chat, for an innovator position in footwear development. I took me 2 years, countless applications and constant networking on LinkedIn/twitter etc. to get that. Unfortunately did not get the position but in my eyes got my foot in the door. To this day I still speak communicate with recruiters about positions and with the new development at the Nike campus that's supposed to bring in roughly 500 engineering and design positions openings are available.
Key things to do:
1. Network, communicate with employees and make connections. Their huge on hiring within and from employee referrals.
2. If it's a design position wanted you must show viable past work and designs. Not some prototype and 1 or two drawings but thoughtful design from rough sketches to 3D Cad drawings of the shoe. They want someone that can hit the floor running and doesn't need to be taught all the new design softwares and applications.
3. Never stop creating. They are always watching for talent. If they like what they see and you show interest and apply, they'll talk to you.
4. Stop blasting NT about being the next great JB designer. Create social media accounts like Twitter and Instagram and show the world no just a few sneaker heads. Make a LinkedIn account and connect with recruiter and current employees and Nike and Jordan. Create an online portfolio on Behance or make a website of your own on squarespace to show off your work.

Good points. Nike gets 30,000 applications a day so you gotta work or network to stand out. Also, the Nike pipeline is the University of Oregon of obvious reasons.
