Switching barbers in the same shop?

According to the lil "macho gangsta real man barbershop" crowd here your barber is "mad germaphobic B"
Nothing wrong with an Edward Doo Doo hands type barber cutting your hair ....it gives the fresh cut more character:lol:
If your barber aint handling twinkle dookie and  washing his hands before he cut your hair....you mad soft B..word is bond dun!

Homie said Edward Doo Doo Hands

I had one barber a few years back who used gloves, but I've never seen anyone wash their hands in between cuts

Tried the new Barber. Son is nice :wow: even used the straight edge (I have a legit fear of those). My current/old Barber never used it. Got my taper crispy, and my half moon on fleek. And cheaper. I have no shame in switching now.

I've had the same barber since I was in kindergarten. I'm now a junior in highschool [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji]

Great post, this has been a nightmare of mine. Luckily never had to switch up. But that feeling of your barber knowing your cut is lovely.

and I love pulling this jerk move...I'm sitting there with an appointment (om next), and he's finishing up with a cut. There's some random dude in there sitting all close to my barber, paying attention to where he's at with the cut. As the cut is finishing up and dude is getting brushed off and the cape comes off, random Dude starts getting ready to get up and get in the chair. I purposely remain seated to let it unfold. Random walks up to the chair thinking he's next, then my,barber like "oh nah I got an appointment ahead of you" and then he points to me and I slowly walk ulcer there with the HEAVY lean...swaggin on the cornball *** dude. He lookin like wtf. Yeah bro....u mad. Lol

I go to whoever is available too. Unless the young guy is working that day, he sucks. I go on Fridays when he's not there.

I usually try every barber in the shop once and I tell them all that's what Im gonna do.
May the best barber with attention to detail win me.

I also pay attention to stuff like professionalism..my pet peeves with barbers are

Stopping to dap or fist pump random customers walking in while cutting my hair
I personally hate when customers come in and gotta go down the line of chairs and dap and slap hands with every barber while they are cutting heads
its unsanitary period

When barbers stop to cycle through music on thier laptop or phone while cutting
Trying to squeeze late appointment customers in front of me...talking about I'm gonna cut him real quick before you ok I got you my bad fam
Excessive cursing and using the N word when women and children senior citizens are in the shop

This is all important to me because I'm paying for a service and I always tip well

bruh that's my shop exactly.

That's the business. Where me and my son go, I book his appointment first and mine for right after, my son already knows the routine so as you put it, a random will start to get up, head to the chair, then my son will get up and head to the chair and the barber will say "I got lil man right there" and dude will be like "what's it looking like after him", the barber will be like "his dad has next", best feeling next to getting a clean cut. As a bonus at the shop me and my son go to, beer is on deck for customers. Feels awesome after a hard days work, work, get clean, relax, and have a cold one.

Don't blame you, happened to me years ago, dude kept swearing he was nice. I'm like ok cool, but I noticed as he was lining me up, he kept staying in one area too strong, and like you can feel your line being pushed back because you can feel previously unexposed scalp being exposed to air, so dude passes me the mirror, and was like he broke his arm patting himself on the back, I'm like "it's been real" passed him the mirror back and stood up, walked out, no payment rendered. Dude followed me out and was like "yo, you owe me $20" I told dude to come get it, and in the words of the late Pimp C " and a fight go with that". Never went back.

Out of reps.

Told him its been real...

Previously unexposed scalp...:smh:

Exactly.

I hated when they messed the hairline up. You go in with such high hope and expectations, the rest of the cut be on point, but you know in your heart, and in your own mirror, that cut has been rendered trash. Your whole mood be messed up because you know everyone that knows you will see you and think quietly to themselves " does he look different, like something is off" damn right something is off, a dude hairline that was once on point now resembles a v-neck. :smh::smh:

Did your barber try to point out the other barber's flaws?
