Is Your State Racist?

Word. No way in hell I would live here in NC, or Charlotte specifically if it was a racist city. I'm a 34 year old brown guy and never experienced a thing, even being from a small town about an hr from CLT.

But racism as a whole is everywhere. No matter where you live, it's prevalent. Yes, some areas are worse than others.
Bruh hella people live in Charlotte on NT.

NC Summit? :nerd:

Republicans 8-2 the past 10 elections in NC lol

tells me all I need to know but I still love it here....I just try not to venture to any hick towns....not that I have any reason to do so

keep me around any city and I'm good

Im hardly in any of these areas to actually know, but i can definitely vouch for Bellaire. Honestly, It's more ****** cop mess here than actual racism here, it which I'd add crappy Pasadena to that list. The food in Montrose :smokin. Only been to Kingwood and Woodlands for track and CC meets, so other than that I have no reason to even go through there. Scarface and Clyde Drexler were living in River Oaks at one time, knowing damn well they had no reason to be smoozing with people who didn't give a **** about them.
Houston Is not "blatant" we the racism, it's more of a passive-aggressive, side way comments type of city, so I definately get how people don't feel it's "racist" per se.
But Katy (I work out there) and trust it's real in the field out there. Could tell countless stories[emoji]128512[/emoji][emoji]128512[/emoji][emoji]128512[/emoji]
But it's nothing like Arkansas. Have family there and I don't like going to certain spots at all if its not Southside Little Rock, Hot Springs, Arkadelphia, Gurdon, you better watch out for those sundown towns[emoji]128512[/emoji]
Vidor ain't got nothing on them.[emoji]128512[/emoji]

I voted for McCrory because that's my dude! Charlotte wouldn't be where it is now if it wasn't for his leadership; even though I don't agree with him on everything. Charlotte has had three Democrats as mayors most recently though. Even though one was a straight up crook with no castle.

I'm down for a NC Summit.

Anybody from Michigan knows how it is up north. I went wayyy north and them white folks were looking like they never saw a black dude before. Was st the casino and was the only person on the craps table. Didn't help that I was breaking their *** too.

i went from california to south carolina and damn...

i havent experienced anything yet but ive also been working 6 days a week.

i had one experience where a cop tried to follow me in my apartments when i parked late at night but being the street cat i am i was able to lose him while walking thru shortcuts, these southern cops are idiots.

they stare at me while im in my work vehicle and i give em a death stare right back.

now back to this state i currently live in..

i work setting up audio and video and we always set up weddings at PLANTATIONS...

these white folks pay mad money and the thing that pisses me off is that black folks are often the ones serving them and it makes me sick..

i feel as if this ish never ended, im not black but i see how evil some of these people are to the "help"

ive been asked if i was the cleaning crew a bunch of times and just shake my head.

the first day i arrived i turned on the tv and it was randomly on history channel and it was all about slavery..

this state seems to be so proud of raping natives and putting others in chains and whipping them.

  lemme guess you like thom tillis too?

Na, im a Demo lifer aside from McCrory. I like Pat because he's a real dude. Most politicians you meet are madd fake. And agreed, his time as Gov has been somewhat sketchy, but I more or less vote for the person and not the views because I'm fiscally conservative but socially liberal.

Back on topic. Racism is all over this country. As long as you live in or near a major city, you're good. Those outlying areas is where it gets dicey in any state.

MD is def racist, in the suburbs/country you can look at the residents faces and see that they are legitimately puzzled why you are around there and what you are even doing outside the city ...the go to move is saying or doing some racist **** then act like they dont know why you are offended or what they did wrong :smh:

And I dont even have to get into how messed up my city is , yall already been seeing that all week ...

Boone plantation? Somewhere near charleston I believe. Took a trip to it with my family since our last name is boone. My dad went and talked to two old white dudes inside of the house there. Asked about the history of the last name and plantation. One of the white dudes said well I hope you find out cause them N words dead and gone and both dudes started laughing

. South Carolina is North Carolinas dumb idiot cousin.

"i see no color"

translation

"you're ok unless you're that type of black person"

My state is definitely racist. People aren't open about it, but you can kinda tell people automatically go >D as soon as they see a minority.
WA state, by the way.

I don't see how anyone can refer to themselves as a minority especially Black folks [emoji]128527[/emoji]

well... your race is not the majority in america... thus you are a minority...

You know what, passive aggressive racism is the perfect way to describe it here . You're def right about Arkansas too. That's a flat out awful place, I'd say top 5 worst state in the US, and that's not even just racism. I've been everywhere in that ****** state, and outside of 2 possible weddings, I hope to never go back. Doesn't even matter the city to me...Jonesboro, Waldo, Camden, Conway, El Dorado...outside of some scenery, they're all pieces of crap.

Having lived in Louisiana, Texas, and New Mexico, I can definitely say that I agree with the chart for those areas. Louisiana is about as racist as it gets.

Man don't be fooled AZ is racist as hell. Fools were the last state to recognize MLK day and they fought it until the last minute.
Especially when your in the outskirts of the city. Was refused service at a gilbert tire shop when I needed air in my whip. Around time when Obama was elected. Tire man said shop closed at 7 and it was 620 or something. Homie ran in store and Locked it after I raised my tone.

Good old Arizona :pimp:

What's bigger, the world or this country?

That's like putting a hundred dollar bill with 100 pennies then saying the hundred dollar is a minority now, Smdh!

I hope you know more about what you are about to delve into. If you do then think before you speak. Btw that sun you see in the daytime (well since you are in WA you probably don't see much of it) is not a minority because YOU can only one sun. It's actually the majority due to its vast effects. Kind of how blacks can never be the minority because whites would not exist if they were no first black people.

Be easy /G\
