Bruh hella people live in Charlotte on NT.Word. No way in hell I would live here in NC, or Charlotte specifically if it was a racist city. I'm a 34 year old brown guy and never experienced a thing, even being from a small town about an hr from CLT.
But racism as a whole is everywhere. No matter where you live, it's prevalent. Yes, some areas are worse than others.
Houston Is not "blatant" we the racism, it's more of a passive-aggressive, side way comments type of city, so I definately get how people don't feel it's "racist" per se.Im hardly in any of these areas to actually know, but i can definitely vouch for Bellaire. Honestly, It's more ****** cop mess here than actual racism here, it which I'd add crappy Pasadena to that list. The food in Montrose . Only been to Kingwood and Woodlands for track and CC meets, so other than that I have no reason to even go through there. Scarface and Clyde Drexler were living in River Oaks at one time, knowing damn well they had no reason to be smoozing with people who didn't give a **** about them.
*looks at screename*I voted for McCrory because that's my dude! Charlotte wouldn't be where it is now if it wasn't for his leadership; even though I don't agree with him on everything. Charlotte has had three Democrats as mayors most recently though. Even though one was a straight up crook with no castle.
I'm down for a NC Summit.
lemme guess you like thom tillis too?
Boone plantation? Somewhere near charleston I believe. Took a trip to it with my family since our last name is boone. My dad went and talked to two old white dudes inside of the house there. Asked about the history of the last name and plantation. One of the white dudes said well I hope you find out cause them N words dead and gone and both dudes started laughing
i went from california to south carolina and damn...
i havent experienced anything yet but ive also been working 6 days a week.
i had one experience where a cop tried to follow me in my apartments when i parked late at night but being the street cat i am i was able to lose him while walking thru shortcuts, these southern cops are idiots.
they stare at me while im in my work vehicle and i give em a death stare right back.
now back to this state i currently live in..
i work setting up audio and video and we always set up weddings at PLANTATIONS...
these white folks pay mad money and the thing that pisses me off is that black folks are often the ones serving them and it makes me sick..
i feel as if this ish never ended, im not black but i see how evil some of these people are to the "help"
ive been asked if i was the cleaning crew a bunch of times and just shake my head.
the first day i arrived i turned on the tv and it was randomly on history channel and it was all about slavery..
this state seems to be so proud of raping natives and putting others in chains and whipping them.
My state is definitely racist. People aren't open about it, but you can kinda tell people automatically go as soon as they see a minority.
WA state, by the way.
well... your race is not the majority in america... thus you are a minority...I don't see how anyone can refer to themselves as a minority especially Black folks [emoji]128527[/emoji]My state is definitely racist. What type is that?
"i see no color"
translation
"you're ok unless you're that type of black person"

But Katy (I work out there) and trust it's real in the field out there. Could tell countless stories[emoji]128512[/emoji][emoji]128512[/emoji][emoji]128512[/emoji]
But it's nothing like Arkansas. Have family there and I don't like going to certain spots at all if its not Southside Little Rock, Hot Springs, Arkadelphia, Gurdon, you better watch out for those sundown towns[emoji]128512[/emoji]
Vidor ain't got nothing on them.[emoji]128512[/emoji]
Pretty much. What the hell else would I mean by "minority"?well... your race is not the majority in america... thus you are a minority...
Especially when your in the outskirts of the city. Was refused service at a gilbert tire shop when I needed air in my whip. Around time when Obama was elected. Tire man said shop closed at 7 and it was 620 or something. Homie ran in store and Locked it after I raised my tone.Man don't be fooled AZ is racist as hell. Fools were the last state to recognize MLK day and they fought it until the last minute.
