Which is an especially funny claim considering that I remember son also saying that he just started buying retroes in 2013 if I'm not mistaken :lol:

Nonetheless he's cool outside of the corny trolling/argument-seeking and he's definitely one of the more useful new members in this section.

 most people don't have the time or the know-how to do the swap themselves. also most people that want these are usually avid collectors or those that keep crying "no NA" or "shape is wrong". LOL just my 2cent.

[emoji]128077[/emoji] yea I randomly went on finishline at 8am saw the gamma 12s added to cart and sat there for an hour not sure if I wanted to get into this but obviously they had then sold old smh. so my first shoe was the trail blazer kamikaze 2s and jordan was the Playoff 8s

I just over exaggerate at times[emoji]128586[/emoji].. but no way those gr 6s are real leather or prior years 5s. pleather can be softer and supple and more expensive.. it don't make sense to me

he's the one that kept getting lc wrong and I was calling him out on itit. that's why he doesn't show face in there anymore. cuz of that he's holding some little grudge and remembers BS I say and try to use it against me lol
plus half of my rep is from lc anyway which is like half of what his current post amount is
 
they are real leather. just split-grain or top-grain. i'm more inclined to say they are split-grain because when you scuff or chip recent retros the pores in those nicks dissappear. you can easily tell what parts are synthetic and what parts are split-grain. 

the full-grain leather are dyed instead of processed like the split-grain, so when they are worn they don't chip way. best example is the xii, if you see a OG taxi or white/red with the upper when they are worn the natural leather color starts to come through behind the white.

You should think twice about providing OG information if your first Jordan was the recent Playoff 8. Also, you think total posts means something? 7200 posts in less than 2 years??? c'mon man

Back to the thread, is this going to be a full on GR? I'm holding off on all releases until this one, wife is getting on my butt for too many pairs in the house. I'm seriously aiming for 3-4 pairs, this and the OG Oscillate are my favorites of all time.

All avy pics are small. The soles were a dead giveaway of the OG release, it was a Nike catalog pic.

You guys missed the point.

Theres no problem in wanting a pair that's close to the OG/99's.

The issue is going

"hey I'd pay $250 for a correct retro"

That's the exact mentality that has got the price of retros to $190.

The 2012 pair was $160.
They told us they were going remaster them and charge $220.
That's a $60 increase in 4 years.
They didn't change much besides the heel logo.

And yet your still going "ill pay even more!"

remasterd pairs are supposed to be 190 though. why the sudden increase? just because this shoe is hyped? man JB can play us however they want.
