Bc if I was a responsible father I would be pissed if my child was calling another man dad. It's simple man, it's disrespectful. And she shouldn't allow it. Now another good man in my kids life sure. But not a father.

There's plenty of children who have step parents and call them mom or dad though especially if they been there since they were babies. How is a child calling someone dad/mom who they are growing up with and being raised by day in and day out being petty? Y'all childish as hell

But kissing my son on the mouth and having him call you dad while I'm still alive and active in his life is very foul in my eyes and extra as hell. You can bestow wisdom and advice upon my son, provide for him, watch the game with him, play ball with him, all that good ****. But I don't see how kissing him in the mouth and having him call you dad instead of your first name is mandatory for you to "take care of your household".

I thought Def son pops wasn't in the kids life. Either way if my kid lives with me and I send him to his moms and moms lets my child call another man dad. Me and moms are having a serious conversation. Call it immature all you want that's cool. But like I said earlier a young man needs as many positive male figures in his life as possible. But he only needs one dad.

I don't whoop him for two reasons
Main reason is my wife and his dad agreed long time ago that neither of their spouses would whoop him, I honor and respect that. Wifey handles that.
Second, I'm not real big on whoopin', I'm more of a do push-ups till my arms get tired kind of guy
I understand the not wanting your child to call another man dad to an extent. But if my son's father was to have an issue for him calling me dad, because he's 10 years old, I'd refer him back to my son. He made the decision on what he would call me, not me. But for a lil kid, idk man. Seems more like an ego thing than it actually being disrespectful.

It's really a sign of disrespect to have your child call another man daddy, if they have their real dad in their life.
