So Is Tom Cruise Unanimous G.O.A.T.?

He gets hate just because of his religion? Ridiculous.

He's had some pretty great roles throughout his career. And he'll continue to flourish.

Interview With A Vampire

MI

MI3

Vanilla Skies

Jack Reacher

Collateral

Minority Report

All raw off the boat.

How you not include Top Gun? Him and Iceman had the best awkward, weird rivalry.

So to be a goat it doesn't matter if people watch your movies or want to see them? Y'all fools act like we don't always post up box office numbers in threads or want certain movies to debut at #1.

jack reacher: 60 mill budget, 218 box office
kight and day: 117, 261 mill bo
Mission impossible 4: 145, 694 box office
oblivion: 120, 286 box office
Edge of tomorrow: 178, 370 mill box office

Aside from transformers, Comic book movies, Fast and furious franchise, he's guaranteed to make double the budget and he does it annually

These costs exclude distribution and marketing costs. Using the industry average of 200 million for marketing costs... Since 2010 his movies outside of mission impossible haven't done well financially.

I agree with what's been said in here though. How well a movie does financially has no relation to how much someone may or may not enjoy it. But

Tom Cruise puts in work
No where close to being the GOAT though

The Carter 3 went platinum in a week.

Box office sales mean nothing.

Transformers 3 probably tripled Most Wanted Man.

I'm gonna need to see the receipts for that 1. 200 mill for marketing and distribution of Tom cruise movies?

$200 is the average for a major release. Which is what his movies would be considered given his star power, so Tom Cruise movies are probably spending more. This shouldn't be a surprise though, we get blasted with commercials , billboards, banners for even the wackest of  movie releases.

Agree with those two but lets add Risky Business, Collateral, Jerry McGuire & Born of the 4th. MI is ok

FOH with Jack Reacher

Regardless of which way you cut it, all those films make up more than half of his film career.

Gotta appreciate consistency.

Gosling?

Norton?

Damon?

Not Matt Damon Right?

Not Adjustment Bureau Matt Damon right?
Norton and Gosling are superior actors. No debate there.

Damon is better at making popcorn/entertaining movies, which is pretty much what Cruise made a career of.

Please name me some Norton hits

And Gosling is overrated.

Afleck got more hits then dude.

Do yall watch movies for entertainment or nah?

Tom Cruise seems legit crazy. I think that's why he nails all of his roles. He has no real emotions so he's ALWAYS acting. In real life dude is always on.

Remember his Oprah appearance? Remember his beef with Matt Lauer? Homey hit his agent in the head with a book once because she put him in a teen mag. There's plenty of personal reviews on dudes sociopathic behavior too. Doesn't scientology teach them to be robots?

But yeah, he can act his *** off. I just wish he'd keep his shirt on. He's looking kinda weird now. It's awkward to watch.
