(When I say fell off, I mean not consistently making top hits in the charts)

I'm just saying the balance is nowhere to be found these days. Before, the "hottest rapper in the game" used to get that distinction by making the best music. Considering NT has made this exact same post back to back months with Future and now Fetty Wap...it's obvious that the distinction "hottest in the game" isn't based on who makes the best work. It's only based on who is popular and has some numbers.

I understand completely. And a lot of promising guys with in depth content do get looked over but I guess that is just the nature of the beast.

That wasn't my point fam, and I clearly stated I'm not a big fan of his music.

I was comparing him to other artist who's time is up after their 15 mins of fame runs out. I don't think Fetty will fall in that category since he actually comes from a musical background, he just needs to keep the right people around him and take advantage of his opportunities.

If all that's true, what an indictment on his music :lol: :lol: he'd be better off saying that he was listening to Young Thug, thought it was garbage and figured he could make some quick cash by doing the same

Gucci will always be goat b. But when honest dropped son fell off terribly, now he's back on his **** and I'm back banging that ****. U just half ******ed for thinking fetty is a fad but rich gang was this dominant force here to stay.

future sucks besides DS2, got like 5 songs from that on my phone.

other than that, alot of this HOT music is TRASH.

compton was terrible, meek is WOAT, j.cole is boring, young thug  quan, migos, pretty much anything this section hypes up is trash.

kendrick, tde, ASAP rocky, travis scott are making pretty unique music which is more than i can say to the dudes just riding every wave.

Then go listen to another music genre or still to old hip hop. I legit hate music fans like this. The mainstream artists arent always gon be the best especially not in todays climate. Look for actual talented lesser known rappers on the internet or something & stop b×tchin about hot rappers being wack like you cant avoid listening to them
