So I had Chipotle for the first time the other day...

Qdoba Burrito w/ Queso sauce is where it's at. Their quesadillas be on point too, and none of that "guac is extra is that okay?"

Sorry to say, but majority of chipotle fans are Caucasian.

Caucasian people have no taste to real good authentic mexican food.

Rice is a staple in burritos. You sir are eating what is called a big burrito style wrapped "soft taco"
Rice is not a staple in burritos my dude, that's something the culture vultures implemented. Come out west to an authentic Mexican spot and ask for rice in your burrito and see what sort of looks you get.
Yeah, you're wylin'.

I'm out west & a burrito w/o rice sounds horrible.

Every Mexican spot I can think of the burrito automatically comes w/ rice unless you ask them to omit it.

Only people who havent had REAL mexican food love chipotle. Pretty much everyone who doesnt live in socal

I love real Mexican food but I prefer Chipotle once in a while

All the authentic Mexican spots i've been to (plenty) put either white or yellow rice in them along with lettuce, tomato, sour cream, salsa, and guac with your choice of carne asada, spicy pork, or slow cooked shredded chicken.

Freebirds >> Chipotle

What is the difference between Freebirds and Baja Fresh?

I live in LA and hit the one near USC. Most regular burrito I've ever had. Could've told me it was from El Pollo Loco and I wouldn't have questioned it.

I'm not saying chipotle is special at all, just curious why some people always bring up Freebirds. Feel like 90% of them went to college or live up in SB.

Freebirds sucks lol. I preferred it to chipotle only cause I got tired of chipotle. none in socal though, only had it up north.

Probably a similar reason why olive garden is so popular. People would rather give their money to franchises instead of the local places that are probably cheaper with better food.

We don't have Baja Fresh in Texas, I can't compare the two, but freebirds is chipotle with more options and not a single damn given to health. Yes, I would like some bacon and queso in my burrito!

They also come in different sizes. You can eat on a monster sized burrito for 2 days.

You could have bumped an older Chipotle thread. YOUR Chipotle experience isn't worth it's own thread
