This dude keeps posting videos of the kid saying that he tried to make it NOT  look suspicious as proof that he "admitted" that it WAS suspicious.

He was told that it looked suspicious. He knew that it looked suspicious and was intentionally trying to make it less so? This kid knew exactly what he was doing. It was suspicious enough for the teachers to call the police and have him arrested. :D

Would it have been suspicious if it was left in a black church by a white kid with floppy hair and a trenchcoat? Affirmative. Is it suspicious in this situation? Affirmative.

B...B...B...B... But anybody who thought that it looked suspicious is a racist and hates Islam...Texas...Racist police.....Social Justice....:rolleyes

Is evacuation what they're supposed to do for a perceived bomb threat? Even in a hoax situation?

I don't know procedure but I'm confident interrogation of an unsupervised minor isn't part of it. So tell me more about how they did their job correctly when you just agreed a bit ago they shouldn't have interrogated him.

Didn't that poptart kid wave it around pretending it was a gun? I don't agree he should have been suspended by the way. That's stupid.

Which brings me back to my point: stupid people make life hard.

Anybody, eh? I don't know about "anybody", but definitely those with a very rich history of bigotry right wing posts against foreigners on forums.

Yes, that is the proper procedure. They did their job by being alert to a potential threat. Now they are being demonized. Do you have kids in public school in the United States?

I get it. All white people are the devil. They are all born millionaires without a care in the world. Anything white people do wrong is a result of their evil, anything done wrong by another race is due to socioeconomic causes. That's a false equivalence. Hispanics are a minority, unless they do something racist, then they are white. etc etc etc. We've been over this countless times around here.

Address the facts. The kid knew it was suspicious looking and admitted to it. He was told that it was suspicious by his teacher. The media and the government are pushing an agenda.

It's not hypothetical. It actually happened. Would you rather take the risk of your children being killed by a bomb, or have some Muslim kid's feelings hurt for being questioned over a movie bomb he brought to school?

But did they evacuate the school though?

Cuz that's what I'd want to happen since I'm not a moron and can choose something between my kid dying and another kid getting away with having a bomb.

Simple question that I'll throw in for the third time, just so I know you see it. Did they evacuate the school or nah?

So now your are upset that they didn't evacuate the school? Why would they? It wasn't suspicious at all and nobody in their right mind would find it suspicious. It didn't even look like a bomb. :rolleyes

brought this homemade clock to school:

...and was arrested, would you Social Justice Warriors still be defending him. :rolleyes

I'm sure that the Prez would be talmbout:

"Cool clock, Connor. Want to bring it to the White House? We should inspire more kids like you to like science. It's what makes America great."

But I said it could be perceived as a threat. I said earlier in the thread it looked like a movie prop.

They thought it was a bomb.... And didn't evacuate the school. Didn't cancel school. They kept it in the building.

Whatever argument you are trying to make is falling apart, you look silly.

"They followed procedure by not doing anything! He knew it looked like a bomb, that's why he showed everybody. So he could get famous. FACTS!"

*insert stupid hypothetical and buzzwords here*

I bet if I picked a random moment to prove my point or made up my own you'd something something irrelevant bullcrap that makes me look stupid.

Quoted from an article..

"Breitbart revealed that Ahmed’s father Mohamed ElHassan Mohamed, is a well-known Muslim activist and rabble-rouser, taking on Koran-burner Terry Jones, and debating radical Islam-critic Robert Spencer — neither of which has been reported by the media.

....Then there was the bizarre behavior of Ahmed himself when he brought his “invention” to school. After he showed it to his engineering teacher…the teacher said it resembled a bomb, and asked him not to show it to any other teachers. But Ahmed then brought it into his English class, plugged it in, set an alarm to go off, and did not mention to the teacher who felt “threatened” by it that he already showed it to the engineering teacher, and to ask him about it…which could have easily resolved the security concerns.

Police described Ahmed as being “passive aggressive” in his answers to their questions, and didn’t have a “reasonable answer” as to what he was doing with the case. Was his behavior consistent with wanting to provoke a response by Irving authorities?

Now an engineer’s blog post on Artvoice may have exposed the entire incident as a setup or hoax once and for all.

The engineer asserts that the “boy genius” Ahmed didn’t “invent” anything at all. He merely took apart an existing clock from the 1970s, and inexplicably transplanted its guts into the large pencil case he picked up off Amazon...."

There was plenty more to this article but didn't want to make this post too long. Basically, this isn't so clear cut as some of you make it out to be. We live in a time where no one does anything wrong and if you disagree you're the bad guy.

And this... :smh:

I wont reply again in this thread and won't be looking at the replies to this because I can already see the responses.

Did anyone of you look into Andrew Breitbart. Or even clicked the author to see the author's other articles

Since you guys are so interested in the Dad's backgorund and possible motivations, maybe you do the same for the dude you guys keep quoting as your of info

HINT: Trying to argue that isn't wasn't about islamophobia by quoting articles from people who dislike Muslims, is kinda, you know, stupid.

So we can only post articles from liberal news sources? Makes sense.

And no one has disputed one fact yet from the info wars or breitbart stories.
