UA = Fake. Not Adidas quality. Shape, color, materials are always not the same.

Not sure how or why people have made it seem like UA's aren't fakes.

My understanding is that UA (unauthorized authentic) are pairs made in the same factory as the original shoe using mostly the same materials, but not commissioned by the actual company and often made with much less quality control. They are still "fakes", but usually the most convincing fakes out there.

People often attach the UA tag to shoes that are just straight up replicas made in different factories using completely different materials.

To my knowledge, there are no actual UA yeezys. Just fakes/reps made in different factories.

Might as well just call them B-grades since that's what some people refer to fakes as also. That term is more misused than the word "literally".

I found pairs for $700-$750 local size 9.5, 10, and a 7.5.

Yes, I found a size 10 for $700 shipped day after release. First 2-4 weeks is when you should be buying. After that they start creeping up.

Unauthorized is just another name for fake. A fake by any other name is still a fake. Kids these days are more concerned with the appearance of owning a rare pair of sneakers than the quality and authenticity of a legit pair.

I meant more nowadays but thanks for the clarification. I think a week or two after is the "sweet spot". People will overvalue them then bring them down to market value and over time will bump it up again.

First post L... for real tho Only real difference is the pattern on the toe is a tad off (reverse mirrored) and the boost is one piece instead of individual pieces. Dont buy from ebay... dont support those fools trying to sell fakes on there.

UA is a fake origin story they created for fake pairs. It doesn´t check out, think about it:

If these were made with leftover materials they would be limited as hell. If Adidas produces, say, 50.000 pairs of Yeezys, why would they have leftover materials for 10x as much pairs to end up on fake sites? They produce cost effective and try not to order a tiny fraction more of fabric then they have to produce their shoes, where do all the materials come from?

I don't see a problem with it as long as they aren't trying to resell them as the authentic pairs. Those who try to resell them as authentic pairs are scum. But I honestly don't see anything wrong with people who try to cop the UA pairs to wear them since the real pairs are hard as **** to cop and the resell prices are absolutely insane. Not everybody has ~$1000+ to drop for a pair of shoes they plan on wearing regularly. Besides, the UAs are getting so good now it's kind of scary. There are still some key tells, but it's not like it's very noticeable unless you are up close looking at them.

This...They employee people to make sure they utilize/estimate/use the correct amount of materials as these companies don't want to have a ton of leftover materials.

I don't know how the UA market works, but I do have doubts about the "UA" using the same material as the authentic pairs. If it was the same material, you wouldn't have the different patterns.

okay.. but are you telling people?
Let´s be honest, the appeal of limited sneakers and clothing is that they are hard to get. Anybody can buy Roshes and Ultra Boosts, not everyone can get their hands on a Yeezy. Most of the people who argue like you still try to pass of their fakes as real to show people they "got them yeezys".

I think the key word is in this is kids. $1000 isnt anything to sneeze at especially for kids who work making an honest buck. I completely understand the justification of buying fakes in these scenarios when someone honestly just likes the design and want a pair for 1/20th the price.
