Has anyone else been using StockX?

Just bought a pair of Motorsport 4s off there for $158.95. This will be my 3rd purchase off the site. Bought a pair of KD 6 Easters and Lebron 11 Dunkman last year. Couldn't pass up on that $25 off signup bonus. Didn't have that $25 off option back when I first signed up.

Is this better to sell on than eBay? Not trying to take any Ls with them fraud buyers lol

in terms of not getting scammed stockx is better but most times you can get more money on eBay

I'd avoid those unless you have some super hypebeast sneakers

Just trying to get rid of some Kobe 8 and 9s lol

Sold my used pairs easily on GOAT

Referring to the 8s

One actually didn't even have a preset color way or pictures on the site. Thought neither would ever sell and both sold in less than a week. Probably bc my prices were kinda low but I had them in my sig on NT at much lower price and not a single bite

id avoid ebay at all costs. too many scammers on there. especially when ur dealing with shoes and sneaker culture. too many losers and scammers.

Is shipping generally quick when purchasing a pair from StockX?

They don't have the product in hand. When you purchase, the seller has a few days to send them to StockX to get them verified. Once that's completed StockX will then ship then to you so most likes takes close to 2 weeks unless you live near Detroit

Wow, two weeks? That's quite a wait lol

Im skeptical about stock x. I purchased some jordan 1s and the seller shipped the day of, stockx recieved a day later, then they shipped to me the same day i dont think it should be that quick [emoji]129300[/emoji]

Hold up. Apologies if this isn't the appropriate place to ask as I realize this isn't the StockX customer support center...but am I missing something or there aren't any actual images of the shoes, or a lot of the shoes, that are up for sale on that site? Granted, I haven't spent much time on StockX but all I see are what appear to be stock images and not the actual shoes you're bidding on.

cuz you're buying a deadstock pair... So does it really matter if you can see them?

Is that a confirmation there are no images ever on StockX of the pair I might buy? If so, yes it matters to me. How many of us go through multiple pairs of certain shoes in stores to find pairs with the least amount of issues? Or to give a more specific example, I'm looking to buy a certain pair of Kobe ids. Without photos, how am I supposed to know what options this pair on StockX features? Or does StockX only deal in default-design pairs of ids? Either way, with no real return policy to speak of, I'm not dropping hundreds of dollars on a pair of shoes I can't even see pictures of beforehand.

There are no pictures. Even when selling, you don't have to take pictures, like GOAT requires you to.

Thanks, man. Strikes me as odd, at least for id-shoe listings. Like I'm going buy a pair of ids someone else made when I have no idea what colors are on the shoes?

 Yeah, no, I'm good lol

I would advise you to not buy from stockx given your qualms about the whole thing
For sure. It's no big deal, I just wondered if I was somehow missing the photos. Actually I'd probably be OK at taking a shot with them for "regular-production" shoes, but no way for ids. Unless, as I said, StockX deals with this by only accepting listings for the default version of a given shoe.
