They are talking about how business engage customers on Insta, to which I know nothing about. But it is working for Ronnie/Kith, Adidas, Hypebeast and other sources that matter to communities like this (@tiannag 8). NT should've one btw!

But as a user, It is still the best platform to see anything in the arts/music/fashion/concepts/hunnies/anything cool...Etc. Individuals day in and day out display crazy talents there. (@Evidence etc..

Instagram
As news of Instagram's planned changes roils through social media, the uproar from angry users continues to grow.

The popular photo-sharing app announced recently that it plans to implement a new algorithm to its site that will give higher priority to posts it believes people will care most about, instead of always showing the most recent posts first. Instagram, which is owned by Facebook, says adopting the more Facebook-like algorithm will help declutter people's feeds. But many users like their Instagram feeds the way they are.

Every change on social media is always not welcomed by users.

Remember when facebook changed their whole display? People were freaking out, and then they got used to it and it's all good.

If the IG algorithm is well done, i'm sure people will be happy about it when they get used to it after a while.

the dm never worked for me...i would send a dm but would get no response, so i figured it wouldnt work on my comp or phone and just said its faulty, oh well...

I'm not happy about this update. I'm really concerned about not being able to promote my business as effectively. I use IG more than anything to get my stuff out there, and now fewer people are gonna see my posts =/

I can't wait till this update gives these glorified sloots a reality check, I run my business off IG, I provide a service and keep my **** as top quality posting, so I have faith those that enjoy my content, will continue to do so, today I saw a couple of birds that provide no services, don't sell *** and literally don't even interact with their followers, talmbout "please turn on your notifications, so that you can continue seeing my pictures" that **** had me like :x :x I'm literally gonna laugh when they post some self exposed panned video of their ***, ***** and boobs and that **** gets a fraction of the likes they were once used to

I'm pretty sure hashtags will continue working as they always have and if you interact with your followers and they with you, your posts will continue to be seen, I actually think this update will be great, it'll push people to be more engaging, is not about "likes" I rather have less likes and more comments, comments and interaction is what is all about.

My boys told me they're leaving IG soon. They say it's boring. I've started to unfollow lots of people.

No social media stays cool forever. Twitter will probably stay cool for the longest because of its journalism ability and it's a mindless breeding ground for ignorance.

Sports free agency has now become waiting for tweets, we can't go back from that nor do I want to.

Word. Interaction is the best part of IG. Actually, the only update I wish IG would do is creating a separate tab for comments to separate it from the likes. I always get random questions from past pics that I'll never see because it fell off the notification line.

Getting notifications for likes is pretty useless anyway, especially when you can just go in and see who liked your stuff manually.
