Nike Hyperdunk 2016 Available in July

THinking about grabbing a pair for summer games. Is the FK version good traction indoor or should just got for the regular version?

FK only version I'd consider for the 16's at this point. Have to be below $100.. especially with KD9 around $79 now.

LOL.

As usual, Hyperdunks are incredibly underwhelming in the three years in between the Olympics.

See you all in 2020.

I don't mind the sole as long as the new lunar compound is actually good.

Plus the more people hate the look, the better the chance I have of picking it up on sale later on

That's true [emoji]128514[/emoji] If they're beasts I might be in, but I haven't really liked a HD since the 12

The FK picture actually alleviates some of my fears.  The original pics didn't look like it had a lot of lateral support, meaning it could be easy to roll an ankle.  the FK looks like there's support underneath the surface.

I like! A lot actually.

Can't wait to cop on sale

I'm liking the design. Been a fan of the Hyperdunk since the Blake Griffin's PEs...Still playing in those and the Oregon Duck colorway

Hope they don't break anytime soon lol

Shoe is being called React Hyperdunk Flyknit 2017 and will be worn by Draymond in tonights game 1.

Delivering comfort, support and the responsive energy return of all-new Nike React cushioning, this is the most innovative iteration in the shoe’s nine-year history. Flyknit technology on the upper provides targeted stretch and breathability, while its pressure-mapped outsole enhances traction

I'm really liking the simply colorway. Hopefully they release and the price tag isn't too bad.

Looks comfy. There was a pic I saw on court last night, and it looks to have a similar heel-cup area to the '16.. the FK was pretty wrangled looking once worn on court.

Yep, exactly. Not feeling it. Where the Curry 4 looked super premium on court.. these look the opposite. More comfortable yes.

Isn't "React" the gel cushioning system that converse used back in the late 80s early 90s. For example Larry Johnsons shoes??? Nike does own converse... so is this something new?

Are the HD 16's good for impact protection? Plan on doing jump/dunk training and wanted a new pair of shoes. Or any other shoe you guys would recommend

I think so.  I've only worn mine a handful of times but the Air definitely feels more cushioned than my regular balling shoes, the Curry 2's.
