NIKE ZOOM soldier 10

Man..that is BS by Nike. Don't make the ID available for the masses. I'm down for a champ pack with the white and gold and the stealth black out...but slimey move by Nike. And now I have to pay for both shoes (LJBSX & Kyrie2) if I want one..I'd assume.1) I guess they didn't have their own ish together when Lebron and company won and had to rush to get it consumer hands.2) The current success of the Soldier X3) The LBJ 14 still not unveiled SMH. Ah well.

is nike really packaging the soldiers with the kyries after letting you guys iD the soldiers? dirty move, nike :smh:

Availability of the black/gold will determine how big a deal the ID was. It's wack compared to what bron wore anyway.

you guys have issues with the containment? i feel my feet wants to slide off the bed on a hard cut.

I just use them for casual and working out. No competitive bball to answer that.

I hope those grey suede are the ones releasing on the 29th....will EASILY hold me over until the launch of the 14

:smokin

Yeah.....one hand it's kinda a blessing because if people didn't want Kyries and they only wanted Lebrons shoe that's what the id was. It was Nike's way of trying to make a quick buck off people right after they won, then you heard all the people saying the IDs wouldn't be available again.....but now you just jab ego buy a shoe you don't care about. This is just the opinion of some own who hasn't bought any Soldier Xs, and I probably won't.

To me, if you have a pair and really like the shoe and/or really just want to commemorate the championship, why does it matter who else can get them?

I do agree. Unfortunately, a lot of it is about how "exclusive" sneakers are these days. It is nice to have a shoe you don't see everywhere. In my opinion , if you actually like the shoe, then it shouldn't matter how many people have it.

For me at least, it's not about who else has them, but how it was marketed..."limited quantities". If something has the potential to sell out, it will, especially sports memorabilia or paraphernalia after a championship win. Not to mention Nike was all pushing the façade that they'd be unavailable after all champ IDs were sold out. If the pack is at least $350/$375 I won't feel like it's easy for other to get a piece of what was supposed to be limited.

I might be the minority here, but the Soldier X are really really nice. I have the black and gum and once they're broken in its a very comfy and supportive shoe. Low responsive feel in the forefoot, zoom cushion in the heel for impact and the high ankle strap does its function. Guys this is form following function. Multiple colorways and low price point make these a no-brainer.
Traction-wise I was slipping and sliding on the forefoot area! Is it because of lack of break in? Hope it gets better. Tried on the camos.

Now the suckers who paid $180 for a basic black and gold soldier are stuck with the "replica" version. Be wiser buying your kicks next time

I do understand the desire for exclusive releases.

I just have an issue with THIS shoe, given how monumental the feat was. I just think it should either be the actual shoe he wore or a special champ mockup that every Lebron/Cav fan can have a chance to own. I equate it to locker room champ hats and shirts.

The entire family had a fair shot at every single shoe Jordan wore for every ring.

Jordan wore colorways that actually released to the public. Todays stars mostly wear PE colorways that will never see a retail release. Difference in ideology. I would love to see them wear the same shoe in the same colorway I can buy at the mall.

But it's just not happening often.

The reason I hesitated and eventually missed out was because they were "replicas." But i wouldn't call them suckers.

Might as well open up that option on ID again.

Really pissed that Bron and the Cavs didnt win game 1 or 2.....man if those released......somebody getting shot.

But in all seriousness, watch people resell these champ packs for $500. [emoji]128514[/emoji]

I get all that and I hate that that is what stuck out. It was just supporting my overall point.

The Jordan example was just about the connection to the fans in those big moments, not the overall ideology or business model.

They can wear all the PE's they want. I feel a player with a sig should have all the colorways they desire.

Just knowing you may see 4 to 10 colorways in any given 7 game series, I think its reasonable to give the family ONE of those to claim their piece of the championship.

I'm glad more people have the opportunity to get them. It's a dope version. Those red toes are as good as bought.

So is there a real difference between the LBJ pair from G3 and G7 packs? And from the IDs we already got?
The metallic gold on the big LeBron king logo for the champ pack is lighter and I think the same as the exact ones he wore instead of that really yellow-gold we got on the iDs. I don't know about the swooshes though.

I see the all black pair in the photo above, but it should be included in the "Game 3" pack, right? Not the Black/Gold pair.

I think the PR guys just got the photos mixed up. The Unlimited Kyries shown are also from Game 5, and not 3.

I cannot wait to compare them with these IDs. I hope I won't miss out on the Champ pack!
