2016 Official NBA Off-Season Thread: Former Greatness

Klay was looking tired of Steph the last few weeks. Green gonna be vocal about Steph real soon.

He did, also that hero ball comment he made was interesting. I think he's tired of steph and Kerr

Come to the Spurs klay, we'll actually run plays for you

Who was telling me the NYK jokes were over? If they spend this $18M for Noah, that's only $22M left

Now they about to sign Courtney Lee for probably around $10M.

If Melo can't win 50+ games plus at the very least make the 2nd round with a lineup of Rose-Lee-Melo-Porzingis-Noah barring injury he will deserve ALLLLLLL of the slander that comes his way.

We making up rumors on the internet now?

It isn't really a rumor Fam, did you look at the body language, did you watch the post game pressers, he isn't going to come out and say "Steph is effing this up and I'm sick of it" but it's not hard to see. I think that after the Olympics he'll calm down and ****, but for now.....

he deserves the slander regardless.

Yep, there is NO body language is this

in fairness, I think that body language here was typical of anyone who would be in that position. To be honest, he didn't react all that terribly here.

But i do agree Klay seems to be annoyed with Curry. I noticed it a couple of weeks before the finals. I think Klay just takes the game more seriously than some. And that annoys him, regardless of how great his teammate might be

I'll concede on the defeated look Klay gave, but I agree 100% that Klay looks like he takes the more seriously. Not saying Steph doesn't, but Klay looks like a stoned faced killer out there. Not too many antics, just business.

Question...how does Joakim Noah compare to Robin Lopez (statistically?)
He just averaged 4 points on 38% shooting last year. 4 assists vs. 2 turnovers.

Someone will quote this & say he was hurt. He's been hurt every season except for 2. Chances are he's gonna be hurt again next year.

Rebound rate is good but it's still a gigantic mistake if they waste 18 mil annually on him.

Klay is as beta as Steph. He probably sees a little bit of his dad Mychel in Steph.

Thanks for this...I'm just trying to make sense of the potential signing. Not that I think it's bad...but 18 mil for an oft-injured 32 year old Center?

And I know Lopez was used as a bargaining chip for Rose, but I just don't know...

Crazy gambles being made by Phil

Funny part about it is that Robin was actually not bad at all, but I guess they needed Rose more.

The triangle is tailor made for big men. If we still
run it Noah is gonna have a lot of opportunities.

Lopez when he was used was super efficient. Plus he doesn't get hurt and surprises u with his defense. Bulls fans are gonna like him.

Noah is a good fit.

Not for 18 million each year.

Yea 18 mill is a bit much, that's if we even sign him.

Out of all the superstars Melo never really got his fair shake of the deal. Always played with mediocre *** teams compared to the rest of them. Barring any injuries, and if we actually get Noah and Courtney like reported, this might be the best team he ever played with.

Man I think I'd rather give HB 18 mil than Noah. Barnes can play a large 2 and rotate at the 3 with Melo. Can shoot the 3 (except during the finals)

Not as injury prone as Noah.

If Knicks really needs a big there has to be someone cheaper out there.

Bisquick Biyambo?

Klay is a dog. I think there was some solid defense on him game 6 and game 7 but he's every bit of a dog as Steph is. I truly do believe they're the best back court ever next to maaaaaaaybe the bad boy pistons or tony & Manu in their prime... and this is coming from a Cavs fan.
