How Did You Find NIKETALK???

I was introduced to Niketalk back in 06 by a friend of mine from NY. It was my senior year of highschool and we attended school south of GA and had a computer class together. During this time fake sneakers was running rampant in the A this includes the spongebob Jordans, see through joints, and etc etc, and he was a legit shoe head. Dude put me on and I used to be stuck in the fake/legit check section because of him, I then moved onto the actual Jordan Brand section but as the years went on I really only visit the General section. I made an account but since retired that name around the time NT became sneakertalk or transitioned or something like that, made a new account which is this and I still frequent NT quite often but post less.

Found a Jordan release date thread in 2008 or 2009 in early high school and lurked for a few years before making this account
 
Back in 06 got heavy into kicks must of saw blog post on like hypebeast or kicksology that credited a post on here about some Jordan's. Been following ever since, lurking a lot. Only just joined in '12
 
Looking for white cement 3s info back in 03. Copped those and the low top black 8s that year.

A year later I found general and it's been a wrap ever since.
 
Watched tapes of mike play and his jays caught my eye. Moms even had me and my bros in toddler releases, but i was not interested in actually find out what they were. Never cared about jays till high school (sophmore) where a kid had aquas but would refuse to tell me where he got them from. Searched Air Jordan and Blue\Purple, aquas came up and so did NT. Lurked for the longest before signing up.

I was looking for info on outlets. One of my classmates told me about shopping centers with heavy discounts and we drove there once (that was when I was fairly new in the US) but I couldn't remember the name. Started googling around and one of the results was that month's Nike outlet report. Felt like I found a goldmine. Lurked there until I decided to create an account in 2011.
 
My big brother. I remember this dude came home one time talking about why you breathing so hard. Had me like, what? I ain't sign up till later tho.
 
On mobile so I don't know my exact joined date but I been here for over a decade fambs. it took me like 4 months to get my sn approved and I was a visitors for a few months before dat but I don't remember how I found out about nt lol.

I$$ put me on back when they had all the numbered jays "for sale" on their site.
 
I was in the Army back in '01, but got hurt and was on my way to being sent home.  Had a cushy office job that granted me web access.  Talking kicks with all the cats in the Army kinda rejuvenated my sneaker thing that took a backseat to college (i.e. being broke as hell).  

Searched some J's (probably XI's) online at my job and stumbled upon NT.  Lurked for 3 or 4 months then joined up.  

Been here pretty much every single day since.

I want to say it was back in 04-05...I was doing my thing on that other sneaker forum. Buying, selling, seeing what's good with certain releases. But I wasn't really rocking with the culture over there. A lot of cats over there didn't have the same mindset as me. I over-read a post mentioning NT..so i ventured over into these murky waters. Granted I never sold or bought on here, I remember when the chambray 7s and the 05 Grape Vs dropped, I was coming here for info. Later on, I wandered deeper into the rainforest and stumbled across general. Once I got exposed to those lands, I thought to myself "oh y'all ****** getting it in over here". Guaranteed laughs and good convo and topics when I came to general. I slowly drifted away from the sneaker game, might dabble here and there (at that time)..but General is what kept me interested. Summer of 09 was something vicious. My NT Truckers know what I'm talking about :lol:
Present day, I don't give a damn about shoes anymore. I might dabble in the occasional Jordan, and Air Max, but other than that, I'm here for general
 
Stumbled upon the release for the black red XV's in 07. Only browsed JB forum but then I came upon the general forum.

What hooked me on General, there was a thread that said "Would you SMASH", it was a pic of some babe, but then she was missing her legs as you scrolled down :lol:

First time I had ever heard smash. NT has taught me a few things
